Week 3.

WEEK 3

Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept...

Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done.

SURVIVORS REMAINING: 23

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!

The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

Well, if you're going to make a robot, you might as well make one that can play chess.

[Board set up! Time to start, and it's his go first.

It sure is great that we're handwaving the actual moves.]

Probably that. Most of my neighbors who play are tired of losing.

It's one of the few games that Doloz and I can easily play together, though I have to move her pieces for her. So there's that.

[Just look at all this chess our muns mutually suck at.]

How long have you been married, anyway?
cherryblooded: (smile / that so?)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-14 02:02 am (UTC)(link)
[So much chess.]

About two hundred years now.
ratingspoint: (ARROGANCE ♥ that's what she said)

[personal profile] ratingspoint 2016-03-14 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
Is everyone that long-lived where you're from, or is it some sort of magic keeping you alive?

[...That was a little blunt, but you get the idea.]
cherryblooded: (sweat / anime sweatdrop)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-14 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
Most species are naturally that long-lived. I'm actually not even middle-aged yet.

...Getting up there, though.
ratingspoint: (ASIDE ♥ okay but enough about you)

[personal profile] ratingspoint 2016-03-14 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you look fantastic for your age.

[Mettaton, please...]

Some of us are naturally very long-lived in the Underground, but most of us aren't. We don't age at the same rate as humans, I'm pretty sure, but that's not really saying much.
cherryblooded: (smile / polka dot)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-14 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you.

[Flattery works on both of them!]

How long do robots live?
ratingspoint: (EASY ♥ alas poor burgerpants)

[personal profile] ratingspoint 2016-03-14 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
In theory? I'll live as long as anybody else. Even if my body doesn't age, my soul will, and all monsters do die of old age eventually.

My body has better defense than most, that's all. It doesn't mean that I'm going to live forever or anything, even though that's what people seem to think around here.

[He doesn't seem troubled by that at all, though.]
cherryblooded: (calm / wait what)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-14 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
...That makes sense.

[Even so, it makes him a little sad to think Mettaton could be gone in - what is for him - the blink of an eye.]

Well then. All the more reason to treasure you while you're here.
ratingspoint: (RECOVER ♥ it's either me or you)

[personal profile] ratingspoint 2016-03-14 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
[Well, Mettaton in particular is kind of a case of "who even knows how his specific situation works out, anyway," but it's pretty safe to say he won't be around forever. Maybe longer than most, maybe not, but not forever either way.]

And I'm not going to discourage that! But I've got a while still.

Of course, I'm not sure that the age on that profile is right, either. It sounds fine? But I've never really paid attention to how old I'm supposed to be.
cherryblooded: (smile / pleasant)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-14 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
You seem like you're about my daughter's age equivalent, so I'd say it sounds fine to me too.

[...weird not to know your own age, though. Even he knows his.]
ratingspoint: (ASIDE ♥ okay but enough about you)

[personal profile] ratingspoint 2016-03-14 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
[...Welcome to the Underground, where our dates are made up and the years don't matter. Also how even does Mettaton work.]

Well, I'm going to have to meet your daughter too one day. You know that, right?
cherryblooded: (smile / cute little wife)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-14 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
Of course you will. You were never going to be able to escape being introduced to her.

[Not in like a matchmaking way because there's noooo way Lobco would go for Mettaton. But they could be friends! Or pseudosiblings.]
ratingspoint: (Default)

[personal profile] ratingspoint 2016-03-14 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
You say that as though I'd want to.

[...Definitely not in the matchmaking way, though, because good lord Mettaton is not here for dating.]
cherryblooded: (smile / that's fine)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-14 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
She's a bit reserved, but you're charming, I'm sure she'll warm up to you.

[How do people not like Mettaton?

Don't answer that.]
