WEEK 3 Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 23

Reminding you that my daughter is your age. Are you planning on having children any time soon, Yosuke?

N-no way! Okay, in a few years then! Or like, 50? I dunno how that converts.

Well, maybe. But she's shy, so it might take some time, and honestly I'm happy as long as she's happy.

Fair, fair. I mean I definitely can't picture having kids either. She's cute though! I bet she has lots of guys interested in her.

[He's going off drawings here, but still]

[That gets a frown for a second, but it's gone as soon as it came.

She's adorable. Just as pretty as her mother.

[He notices the shift, but assumes it's the normal 'Dad not liking the idea of his daughter dating', not... well yeah, he doesn't wanna know]

I really can't picture the idea of being a dad. Like, ever. I'd probably be a nervous wreak all the time. ESPECIALLY with a daughter.

You might change your mind someday. It's natural you wouldn't want to even think about raising a kid now.

Heh, yeah. Gotta find the one first after all.

[Aw lookit that dreamy look]

You will someday. And when that happens, I want to meet them before you do anything like having kids.

Well yeah, meeting the family is important.

[He's so caught up in his fantasy he doesn't seem to realize what he said.]

She'd be so shy about it though. "But Yosuke-kun, what if they don't like me?"

[He's practically cupping his own face and turning pink]

[He's about sparkling right now.]

[Oh. He flounders a little, and turns red]

W-well if you're gonna insist on meeting her anyways...

Of course I would. Have to make sure she's good enough for you.

[Yosuke's getting his hair ruffled again.]

[He's not used to that from HIS side of things- usually he's not good enough for girls. Or anyone. Even friends. Associates. So he'll take the praise and hold it close]

Aw man, I just combed that!

[But he doesn't pull away either]

It's hair ruffles or hugs. Take your pick, I'm up for either.

[He turns even redder]

I guess you can do whatever you want.

[He has his pride, but it's Cherryblod, so he doesn't mind too much]

Then I think I will.

[Sorry not sorry, young man, you're getting hugged.]

[He's a little surprised. His dad has never been a big hugger- not that he was ever short on affection. It was usually verbal. Praise, showing him how to do things, long talks. It was different, but not bad.

'That kinda thing is for girls' He had told Yu, when he did the same thing. But he had needed it, and he kinda needed it now. And more so, he had a feeling Cherry did too. So he hugs back]

Hey... thanks. You know, for everything.

Nothing to thank me for. Or if there is, then I should be thanking you just as much.

[He doesn't linger overlong, which is probably a relief to Yosuke - long hugs get awkward easily.]

Nah, not really. We're all just doing what we can, right?

That applies to me just as much as it applies to you.
