WEEK 3 Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 23

[Colress discovers Yosuke on his mission while coming up the stairs to check out the new floor. Curious to see what he's up to (and seeing it as a way to get a good chat in with Yosuke), he makes his footsteps a bit more pronounced as he approaches.]

Did you find something interesting on the ceiling?

Nothing yet! But if things keep on like they are... I'm guessing there's another floor up there.

[Now that Yosuke mentions it, as Colress observes, something is definitely amiss with this floor.]

Ah, that is odd...I was not expecting the stairs to end so soon, myself.

And you believe there may be a fourth floor anyway?

I think so. Not that I have any real proof or anything- two weeks isn't really enough to be a pattern, right?

You are correct, it doesn't. However...

[He glances out the stairwell and down the hallway of the third floor.]

I expected to at least get high enough up to discover an actual exit. Is there not one on this floor?

Not that I've found. But this place isn't built in a way that makes sense at all! It has two laundry rooms! It's almost like the floors are made up completely separately from each other, or just added on later when they needed other stuff.

Two laundry rooms? That...is strange. What else is up here?

Mostly that and a giant music hall. The acoustics are really good.

[Music. Ah, yes. Colress totally knows all about that...! Right...]

A music hall and a second laundry room. That certainly does seem like a nonsensical floor plan. At least the sewing room and art room being together on a floor made sense.

It might be a clue... I just don't know to *what* yet.

[Colress is thinking the same thing...and since Yosuke is thinking about it too, he decides to share some info.]

Last week, Mr. Knight [Gabriel] and I had a discussion about the layout of this structure. We discussed the possibility that it used to be something else entirely, but was rearranged- possibly for our stay here? It couldn't hurt to consider that again with this addition.
