Week 3.

WEEK 3

Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept...

Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done.

SURVIVORS REMAINING: 23

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!

The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

Maybe it's too complicated? Or maybe it's as easy as clicking our heels together and wishing we were somewhere, and he doesn't want us to know. [ Who knows. ] I couldn't say, but... I agree it'd make him more believable.

A lot of what he says is left for ourselves to interpret, from what I understand so far.

[And that interpretation can cause a lot of... miscommunication. Which certainly isn't helpful.]
bloodisthicker: there, i said it (your face is a huge jerk.)

...It seems, then, like it's entirely possible that everything he's been telling us is technically true, but framed in as misleading a way as possible to cause us to panic instead of approaching things logically.

[...admittedly, now that weird time shit is on the table, he's... retroactively coming to a few conclusions he's glad he didn't.]
amygdalae: its going to drop eventually (waiting for that other shoe)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-15 01:38 pm (UTC)(link)
That could be entirely plausible too.

[And certainly not the first time Bruce has to deal with something like that. (Thanks, SHIELD).

Regardless, its still best for us to keep an open mind on what he decides to tell us.]
bloodisthicker: because i'm worth it (it's l'oreal kid)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-17 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
...honestly, that sort of thing would be even more annoying, given that there are so many different ways you can take something. It's almost easier to deal with a plain lie.
amygdalae: that's a nice way to put it (my other self?)

wow i didn't even realize my tag fail up there...

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-17 03:34 pm (UTC)(link)
[A small, amused sound from Bruce.]

It certainly would.

[It would be far, far more easier. This, Bruce knows well.]

Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens to know for sure. I doubt any real answers will come easily, though.
amygdalae: (seeing what you did there)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-18 07:58 am (UTC)(link)
We'll just have to find them ourselves.

[As they've been trying to do since they've got here - and hopefully something will turn up soon.]
bloodisthicker: yeah but what are we going to do with all that melon juice? (pinky are you thinking what i'm thinking)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-19 12:48 am (UTC)(link)
I guess we'll just have to pay extra close attention to any new rooms we find, then.

...Or the ones we already have, thinking about it. I feel like I've given them a pretty close look, for the most part, but it's entirely possible we could've missed something.
amygdalae: (oh look there's wally.)

It's definitely possible, what with everything that's been happening.

[Evidently they can't take a few days off without something occurring. #VaultLyfe, man.]

It could be a good idea to give everything another once over. We might be able to find something by starting afresh.
