Week 3.
Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]
music room
Making some music for them.
Since Sigrun's hanging in the music room too, she's going to be doing the latter after gathering a rhythm from his movements the best she can. A lyre's not the best instrument to do airy stuff on for her, but she'll work it!!! Especially with that aggression!! Even if it's a totally different melody from whatever Mettaton's going at.
Listen. She's already gonna be doing something for him tonight, might as well make fun of his moves now.]

You know what, though, this is the sort of thing he can get behind? I mean, if you think he can't improvise in the general direction of whatever it is she's doing over there, then you've got another thing coming to you.
It's been a while since he's done things with someone else, even just informally like this; music with Aqua once in a while is...different, there's no form or instruction to this, so this is honestly nice even if Sigrun is...effectively rocking out with a fucking lyre.
...These are our lives right now, this is what we have decided to be.]

... Yet, because hell if Sigrun won't change the pace to see if she can trip him up. One minute it'll be the rocking out she loves so much and then it's something a little more mellow, with longer notes due to the lack of fingers silencing them and a somber feeling. Things like that.
Listen, her arm's gonna tire out before he does, but fuck it you know? Be the ballerina you always wanted to be.]

That said, the sudden changing tempos are going to have the occasional effect of making him catlike grace it once in a while - he won't completely bite it, but once in a while there are instances of THAT WAS OBVIOUSLY ENTIRELY INTENTIONAL, I UTTERLY MEANT TO DO THAT until he can recover himself. So there's that vindicating her once in a while, for what it's worth.
He'll address her eventually, though (and how the fuck do robots even do that with their legs, christ-).]
Having fun, sweetheart?

Tons, honey. How about you? Nicer having a little music to go with your moves, isn't it?
[as much of a fucking mess as it is]
no subject
[...At least he genuinely doesn't seem to mind.]
no subject
[Even if she's enjoyed getting the better of him from time to time his confidence be damned.]
no subject
[That said, though, he'll break for a second, if only because conversation is likewise good right now.]
You ought to play more often - I'd like to hear it.

Then you're in luck, because there's no limit to the things I can play on this lyre of mine. It's the closest thing I've got to home right now.
[If there was, say, a place to practicing her knife skills or shots, she'd be even happier, but this is fine enough. It gets rid of her slight homesickness enough.]
no subject
[It's not really a question.]
Music is good for people like that - it's one of the better reminders that we can have, assuming we can play it well enough.
no subject
[Like Mouri. She's teaching Mouri. All that air's going to something good with the flute.
... But that idle plucking's starting to sound like something Mettaton's played before on is ukulele, albeit with a few wrong notes as she works out the sounds.]
Maybe we can celebrate that part at least, since that's what music's good for.
no subject
...I've been thinking about it a lot lately. Home, I mean.
[He shrugs a bit; he doesn't sound upset about it or anything, but then, he never really does.]
no subject
I think everyone is. Even I'm starting to feel a little homesick, though...
[... though by now, everyone would've gone back to how things were. Remembering how great she was and mourning that they couldn't find her body -- provided that their worlds aren't destroyed, anyway.
Sigrun shakes her head, stopping the sound of the lyre with a hand.]
What about it?
