Week 3.

WEEK 3

Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept...

Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done.

SURVIVORS REMAINING: 23

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!

The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]
bloodisthicker: oh no, it's hot (guys... fucking...)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-15 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
Huh. If I knew it'd be that easy, I probably should've just considered doing it myself.

...honestly, I'm not sure if this is helpful or aggravating, though. Twenty-five? Really?
captainobnoxious: (21 yo this shit's broken)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-15 07:04 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, he's so young. Kind of makes sense why he's got a savior complex about all of this though, you know?

[Too big for his britches.]
bloodisthicker: could you be any more questionable (my sensibilities are so offended rn)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-16 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
That's probably it, yes. I'd say that's old enough to have a reasonably mind on him, but still young enough to still think that grandstanding like this actually impresses anyone.
captainobnoxious: (19 yeah that's broken)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-16 06:25 am (UTC)(link)
[... Actually, now that she's looking at the Kingmaker's profile too, she needs to add something.

Namely, his height. If she's 178cm, then he's gotta be about 175cm. Marker's so good.]

It's a little impressive, you've gotta admit. He keeps us as well-fed as livestock without us even realizing how he gets in and out.

[Which is a feat.]

... Maybe he can teleport.
bloodisthicker: because that would be the worst (did i break a nail)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-18 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
I really have to wonder how much money he's spending on this venture, to be honest with you.

[...he's not going to draw attention to that note, but he can't help but smile.]

...I'm not even sure if it's money at this point. Maybe he can teleport, I don't even know.
captainobnoxious: (08 you sure you're not 16)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-18 03:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, someone who's a maker of kings has to be a king already, right? Isn't that how the royals work?
bloodisthicker: yeah but what are we going to do with all that melon juice? (pinky are you thinking what i'm thinking)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-19 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
I think it depends upon what basis the monarchy is ruling, to be honest with you. I've heard it's gotten pretty complicated in the Earth Kingdom at various times in the past.
captainobnoxious: (20 boy is that shit broken)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-19 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
What's an Earth Kingdom.
bloodisthicker: you sure about that (well this is awkward)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-20 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
...it's a very expansive kingdom in my world with multiple states to it? I don't really know how to describe it other than that.
captainobnoxious: (08 you sure you're not 16)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-20 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
[...]

But why is it specified as the earth kingdom? So you have a sea kingdom too? Like with more Carens in them.
bloodisthicker: in your dreams, tarrlok... (my best lord vetinari impression)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-20 04:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, well...

[...oh, that's right, he hasn't explained bending to Sigrun.

...

This is going to be an Adventure.]

Back home, there are four nations that are aligned to each of the four elements, with some people originating from that nation being able to manipulate that element. So, people from the Earth Kingdom have a chance of inheriting the ability to manipulate rocks and soil and things like that, which we call "bending."

I'm actually from the Water Tribe, so... well, I'm going to let you down gently and say that I'm not secretly part fish or anything, but I did have the ability to bend water and ice back home. We also don't live under the sea, but we do live at the North and South Poles, for the most part.
captainobnoxious: (20 boy is that shit broken)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-20 05:08 pm (UTC)(link)
[So.

He's definitely Icelandic in her book.]

That sounds pretty useful. I'm guessing you can't do it anymore though. Have you tried?
bloodisthicker: there, i said it (your face is a huge jerk.)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-20 09:49 pm (UTC)(link)
[iceland? haha, buddy, you don't know ice.]

...basically the second I got here, yes. It was especially alarming since there's some revolutionary lunatic going around removing people's bending, but... I'm almost one hundred percent certain he has nothing to do with this.
