Week 3.

WEEK 3

Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept...

Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done.

SURVIVORS REMAINING: 23

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!

The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

[ ... He's already shoved a brownie in his mouth before he comments on the presence of brownies. ]

Wow, so many of you like to bake, huh? These are delicious! But I'm worried I'm gonna have gained weight by the time I'm out of here, and then my spry image will be ruined!

[ He's obviously joking about that, though. Give him all the desserts, man. ]

[Of course he has. Naturally.]

That's easily solved, you know. You don't even need divine powers to lose weight.

That's true! I'm usually moving around a lot... although here, not so much. Although, I guess it won't be that big a deal... normally, I don't even actually digest stuff. [ SHRUGS... Gods don't need to use the bathroom in Noragami, as weird as that is. ] It's nice of you guys to do stuff like that, though! I dunno about everybody else, but it sure keeps my morale up.

[ How is a god like a college student? They're both easily appeased by free food, apparently. ]
cherryblooded: (calm / wait what)

It gives us something to do, and it makes us feel like we're being useful. At least, if the others feel the same way about it as I do.

[Which is a pretty bold assumption, most of the time.]

Yeah, I bet you're right about that... actually, I just had a dream the other night that I made robes like this for my kid, Yukine... [ He lifts his arms up, to better emphasize the ceremonial clothes he's wearing. He'll never take them off except for washings if the alternate is the jumpsuits... ] I custom embroidered them and everything! And it felt really nice, seeing him wear them.

[ "I like doing nice things for other people, it feels good!" is normally a lesson learned earlier in life but, well. His life has been long and consistently screwed up. ]
cherryblooded: (smile / relieved)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-15 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
[The jumpsuits are pretty awful, so he sympathizes. And can at least actually sort of smile at that.]

Taking care of our children is one of a parent's greatest pleasures.

It really is! I used to think kids around that age are troublesome, and... well, they still are troublesome, but he's worth it. It would be nice if he could get a little older, though...

[ But not too old. Yato doesn't want his divine weapon to be taller than him... ]
cherryblooded: (calm / talking)

Won't he grow up eventually? You might regret saying that in a few hundred years.

[They grow up too quickly, in Cherryblod's opinion.]

[personal profile] capyper 2016-03-15 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
No... he'll never age. This is already his posthumous life, so... it'd be weird if he aged when he's technically dead to begin with, don't you think?
cherryblooded: (calm / frown)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-15 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
...Oh, that does make sense.

Strange to think of having a child who's a child forever.

[Really, really strange.]

Yeah... it's probably harder on him than me, though. Man... I hope he doesn't do anything reckless, considering he's like, permanently 15 and all. [ Yukine is a mature kid most of the time, but honestly. Being 15 is not the most rational time of a person's life. ] At first I was more worried about how hard he was gonna punch me when I got back, but now's about the time he's probably started thinking about doing something stupid...

I sure hope your daughter's more likely to keep a level head than he is.
cherryblooded: (calm / frown)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-16 03:06 pm (UTC)(link)
[...No wonder he's worried. Fifteen year olds are known for doing stupid things.]

Lobco's traveling right now, so she may not know that I'm gone. Even if she does - she's a sensible child. She'll worry, but she won't do anything rash, I'm sure.

[personal profile] capyper 2016-03-17 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm... I'll take from your example and have a little more faith in Yukine, then! I mean, it's... not likely that he'd go run off to another god, I think...

[ ... Actually, everybody is probably surprised Yukine hasn't done that, considering Yato is aggressively Yato all the time. ]
cherryblooded: (smile / polka dot)

[personal profile] cherryblooded 2016-03-17 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
He won't. Just because you're gone for a few weeks doesn't mean he'll forget all the reasons you're a family.
