WEEK 3 Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 23

Y'know, we oughta paint this place. There's nothin' stopping us.

It would lift everyone's spirits, I think. I am concerned about ventilation...

[Stan glances around at the ceilings.]

Yeah, I got no idea how air's even circulatin' in here.

Neither do I. But it must be, somehow, or we'd have more problems than just being trapped here.

Normal ducts would've been too obvious. [Even if they were too small to get anyone out of, it'd be a start towards something.] But he's still gotta be pipin' it in from someplace, right?

You're right. He must be managing it from somewhere--and he must have contact with the outside, if he's able to keep the vault stocked.

Yeah, twenty-something people'll go through a lotta food. Even if one of us does eat like a bird!

You're more of a "meat and potatoes" person, aren't you?

Yeah, pretty much. I ain't a a great chef, but I've been cookin' for myself most of my life.

I'm not sure I believe that, with how delicious these pancakes are. You at least have experience.

I've been practicin' a lot with the kids stayin' over. Not sure I trust 'em usin' the oven yet...

[ Especially Mabel, who sounds... incredibly excitable. ]

Dipper'd probably be okay. He's real rulesy - the kinda kid that'd be careful with that. But the last thing I need is anyone burnin' down the Shack now.
