Week 3.
Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

[ The same probably runs true for others who think the same way. ]
His kingdom is full of lovely birds... but he still worries.

I'm pretty sure no one believes that tale of his, honestly, so you're not alone in your worry. They're probably waiting for your return though. While with me... I figure that they've all gone back to their lives as normal, especially after all this time.
[It'd be bad if they dwelled on her status for too long. Mourning's fine, remembrance is great, but there's just no time in that reality.]

[ He seems taken aback when he hears those words, looking away to the side. ]
"Doesn't that hurt?" The King asked. Does that not sound--very painful to say?

[She pauses in her painting for a moment, gathering more on her hand.]
If I've been missing for this long, they've probably given me a funeral after assuming the worst and gone on with their duties, whatever it is I was doing before this. People who're MIA don't come back.

The King said B-Boundless should return to them then, when this is over! [ Friends and family, huh. ] Prove them wrong, and bring them great joy. Separation is one of the saddest things, and she will also change history.
[ Given her statements from before too, is this too shameless to say? What's a friendlier way of "scaring them out of their wits after coming back from the dead"? ] And... wouldn't it be funny a shock?

Buddy, chances are, if they saw me walking through the mountain pass they'd shoot me down. I'm immune to the Illness so I wouldn't become a monster, but... No one comes back from death.
[Especially not someone presumed dead for the past threeish weeks.]
It's a nice idea and I'd love to see everyone again, sure. I'd love to bring a couple of people here there too. But it's just not so simple.

[ The bird seems to be lost now as to what to say--their worlds' rules seem too different. And Sigrun is both casual and grim knowing all these... Telling it as it is, he almost feels upset that she isn't more upset. ]
But... where will The Boundless go then? Coming out from this.

Maybe I'll just stay here. Maybe it's not too bad outside. And... as much as I miss being outside, being in a space like this isn't the worst thing in the world. Not when we keep getting floors.
[At the expense of two people.]
We might even shoot up so high we get a window.

Even without the Bad One ruling over, The King does not know if he could stay here with all the awful memories...

[... Though admittedly her world's colored by death and bloodshed anyway, but. You know.]
And a little alcohol never hurt!
no subject
What about... forgetting the bad? That is, forgetting entirely and not... temporarily.
no subject
A nice question to ponder, if Sigrun was the pondering type.]
You should never forget bad things forever, as weird as that sounds. You learn from the bad things so you can make good things.
no subject
[ He sounds apprehensive--but not entirely contrary. ]
no subject
[... Thanks for the short way to say it.]
Why would you want to forget them forever, anyway? They make the nice memories all the sweeter.
