WEEK 3 Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 23

[Stan inspects it, turning it around in his hands, and then flicks it on.

It is very bright!]

[Stan used Flash! It's super effective!

Speedwagon has covered his eyes, clearly not pleased by this turn of events.]

Give a man a bit of warning!

[Stan stops using Flash! And tries to pretend he did not just blind himself also!]

I didn't think it'd still work!

[He'd give Stan a look... but he can't see him at the moment. Keep talking, Stan, so he can find you.]

Don't just bloody touch things if you don't understand them! Even I know that!

I understand lanterns just fine.

[He's turning it off, obviously.] At least we know it works!

[He's rubbing his eyes. Just. Gaaah]

That it does... [groan] Seems if we're ever in need of some extra light, we wont have to look very far.

[...] This... probably means a lighthouse will be missing a torch now.

Ah, don't worry too much about it. They keep an eye on those things - it'll get replaced quick.

Hope we'll be so lucky. [If a ship crashes somewhere, someone is getting totally fired.]

....Why don't we keep it off for now, then? Can't imagine this torch being able to stay lit for very long, though I'm not much of a sea man anyway.

You'd be surprised. They can't have these things givin' out in the middle of the night!

[Stan pats it.] But yeah, I'm gonna hang onto it. Might be useful sometime!

[isafraid]

Well I can't come up with any arguments against that on the spot. [You have fun with your horribly bright nightlight, Stan.]

It's not possible the machine gave you anything else like this, is it?

Nah, not this big. Just a few of those little lights.

[Hey, if this were Round 1, the massive nightlight would be so useful.]

Well in case the light ever goes out around here, we'll have a bright idea or two.

Ha ha! Geeeeez, man, you gotta warn a guy before you do that, that's terrible!
