Week 3.
Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

What would you recommend, then?

Hmm... [ She bends down, going through some of the board games. ] There's Monopoly, which is a really long game about getting land and managing your money. Looks like there's some kind of knock-off Battleship here too.

[he says, awash in dramatic irony]
...all right, what's Battleship like, since that sounds like it could actually be kind of fun.

She digs out the box, setting it on top of one of the tables. ]
It's basically a guessing game! You put your own ships on certain parts of the board, and your opponent guesses a coordinate. If your opponent gets one of your ships, you tell them they "hit" it, but if they don't it's a "miss". The object of the game is to get all of your opponents ship off the field.

...and oh, that... sounds pretty fun, actually. I'd imagine there's still a lot of strategy to it, since you're still watching your opponent, even if you can't see their side of the field.

I have a great poker face, just so you know. [ But she smiles anyway, setting up the game. ]

[...he gestures in the way that one usually does when they don't want to say A HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE OF AN INDIVIDUAL WHO MIGHT KILL YOU FOR SHITS AND GIGGLES.]
But are you in politics, though.

[ And as she says that, she dumps all the game pieces out onto the table before scooping them into the right spots. ]

[...so which are his, then... hmmm...]

[ She starts setting up the board, motioning to it once it's ready. ] Pick a side!

I'll take this one, then.
[HE'LL... GO ON THE RIGHT SIDE? front side? it's all relative.]
