Week 4.

WEEK 4

And as the third week in the Vault comes to a close and the fourth week begins, the Survivors are once again down by two. Mion Sonozaki died on her own terms, and Yato died fulfilling his duty as God of Fortune in the best way that he knew how; the shrine built in the game room on Saturday stands in their memory.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not...

Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fourth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; even if the Kingmaker sounded a bit unhappy with you last weekend, the fact remains that you're still doing what you seem to have been brought here to do.

Pass

[Did you expect a different answer, Sigrun]
captainobnoxious: (13 yeah no)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-21 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Wuss.

[Did you expect a different response, Mouri.]

Besides I don't mean to be rude, but your world doesn't sound like an ideal social hub, what with the Infected and the trolls and the apocalypse that happened.

I mean, I'd be okay with visiting, if you can make it safe, but I don't think I'd dare to get out of any safe areas there could be.
captainobnoxious: (10 let's see.)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-22 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
[... That is fair.]

You probably aren't immune, so you'd be stuck where you were safe anyway. Not in a military settlement like my Dalsnes, but in one of the cities that's more protected and has cushion room before you hit the areas you'd die a foot in.

On the bright side, a smart guy like you'd be picked up pretty quickly for some smart person job.

[Sigrun's going to take everyone to her world?? Fuck your own worlds come live in troll land.]
sleepingkogoro: (i have no idea)

[personal profile] sleepingkogoro 2016-03-22 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
[party at sigrun's, bring everyone]

I suppose there's not much detective work to do in your world, is there?

[Mouri supposes that, since humans may not be reaching high numbers, everyone would have enough common sense to not to kill each other]
captainobnoxious: (60 you get used to it)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-22 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sure there is, but in Dalsnes missing persons are, generally speaking, dead. So there's no real point in looking for them or anything.

[... In one of the capital cities, maybe there'd be use for Mouri and Lynne's talents, but. Yeah.]

I see.

[Another shot to the archery board. Still doing rather well]

I think you'd get bored if you ever went to my world. Overall I'd say it's pretty peaceful. All the murder cases that pop up wherever I or the brat living with me go makes it all look more violent than it actually is.
captainobnoxious: (03 can't be that hard)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-22 11:17 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know, I'd still like to see it. What a peaceful world would look like.

[She's not taking another shot though, content to watch Mouri's.]

But you're right. I'd be bored as hell. There's not much use for me outside of killing trolls and all.
sleepingkogoro: (suave)

[personal profile] sleepingkogoro 2016-03-22 03:33 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sure you have other talents as well.
captainobnoxious: (02 i'm the best ofc)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-22 04:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course, I've got plenty! I'm very skilled with pretty much anything you can think of! Unless it includes some kind of book, because those are boring if worth millions and I try not to read unless I really need to.

[Most of her talents lie in things she can do with her hands. And there's probably a lot she could learn to do if she was interested, but she's not.]

[personal profile] sleepingkogoro 2016-03-22 06:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Then I think you could get a job in the police force. With your enthusiasm and skills I'm sure you'd soar through the ranks in no time.

[...although Mouri isn't sure that would be good, though. Sigrun in the police force...well it'd be a thing]
captainobnoxious: (09 mmm!)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-24 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
[Awww, Mouri...]

I'd be your boss in no time. We'd have tons of fun! Right?
sleepingkogoro: (no way im wrong)

[personal profile] sleepingkogoro 2016-03-24 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
[The exaggerated goosebumps he just faked should be enough of an answer to your 'Right?']

Kogoro Mouri is no one's subordinate! I'm a private detective, and that means I only work for myself. Sorry [not so sorry] to break your fun but I'll never be your subordinate.

[Well that was prideful! Mouri is even irradiating such pride he may as well be the center of the universe right now.

Still, after a moment of silence...]

Just curiosity: you are the captain of your group, aren't you? How was the training like?

[Because he has the feeling anything the police can throw at her in the training phase would be no more than a temporal inconvenience. Let's be honest: Sigrun would ace almost everything]
captainobnoxious: (20 boy is that shit broken)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-24 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
Stern and firm. Every recruit's got their place and what they're good at, so we just focus on those and use basics to build up against their weaknesses. Swimming was easily the biggest part of our training, since it's great for pretty much anything and we're not called the rulers of the sea for nothing.

[Sigrun's practically a queen.]

We'd go for hands-on experience after they managed to put a nick on their captain. Why?
sleepingkogoro: (it was nothing)

[personal profile] sleepingkogoro 2016-03-24 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
Uh, nothing. I was just wondering.

[Mouri leaves the crossbow aside]

Somehow I have the feeling you'd fit in any world. You are prepared for anything.

Keep it up, Captain, and don't let anything happen to you. I honestly have no idea who would be a good leader besides you, so let's avoid that problem.

We're all counting with you.

[Mouri leaves the shooting room. He is glad Sigrun is around, because she has to deal with responsibilities no one has. As long as there's someone dealing with that he won't have to do it, so all is great.

...well there was also some sincerity in that, but Mouri won't ever admit it]

captainobnoxious: (04 what've we got here)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-24 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
[Aww, Mouri. Sigrun knows she's the best person for the job, but it's real nice to see people that would've been against her first week come around to saying so too.

She's gonna make him the best flutist.]
