Week 4.
And as the third week in the Vault comes to a close and the fourth week begins, the Survivors are once again down by two. Mion Sonozaki died on her own terms, and Yato died fulfilling his duty as God of Fortune in the best way that he knew how; the shrine built in the game room on Saturday stands in their memory. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fourth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; even if the Kingmaker sounded a bit unhappy with you last weekend, the fact remains that you're still doing what you seem to have been brought here to do. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 20 |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

Sigrun generally does not have an inside voice, but she'll surely keep it on the down for Stan. Not everyone is fortunate enough to be her.]
Had a bad time with the drinks upstairs, old man? Or maybe too much of a good time.
no subject
[He appreciates the effort, truly.]
no subject
[The embarrassment one.]
... I mean, aside from the whole explodey bit we saw. That's pretty drink worthy too. I guess.
no subject
...but yeah, you got a point. That sure happened. [The explodey thing. Yep.]
no subject
[But she's fond??]
But anyway, the same brother you were going to row around the world with?
no subject
...to be fair, I probably should've seen it comin'.
no subject
Yeah? Why?
no subject
[To say the least.]
But geez, you sink thirty years into savin' a guy, you'd think he could at least be grateful.
no subject
[Punching always works.]
no subject
[But thirty years in the portal apparently taught Ford to really fight. But Stan hadn't really wanted to hit him anyway, not then. But it wasn't supposed to go like that.]
- well, the kids were there. They'd kinda had a rough day already.
no subject
Poor old guy. This has really got him down.]
What'd you save him from that made him punch you? That's not a very nice thank you.
no subject
Thirty years ago, he fell through some kinda science portal to another dimension. Hid all his damn notes on the thing, so it took me this long just to get it runnin' again.
...it was my fault. We were fightin', we were too close to it...it was an accident. I didn't know it was gonna suck him up like that.
He's got every right to be mad at me. I just thought maybe things could be different.
no subject
[The science portal sucking people up, anyway.]
... It is also a really long time. How'd he look? Same age as he was or as old as you?
no subject
[So really how bad can the portal have been? That's not something he'd say out loud, though, even here where Ford could never hear. It makes him feel too awful.]
no subject
Do I have to put a watch on you too? Not because you're under suspicion or anything, but just in case something happens.

I dunno who else knows about Ford. I ain't exactly been goin' around tellin' everyone. [For reasons other than the trend of killer twins, but all the same.] You, Black, Cherry...
[Stan shrugs. All people he trusts, as far as that goes.]
Bet it'll get around though.
no subject
Well, not from me, that's for sure. Figure I don't have to worry about you so much then, since it's not like anyone'll be out for your alcohol-laden blood any time soon.
no subject
[He may or may not be correct in that judgement, but all the same.]
Well, except Mettaton. Doubt anything much is gonna hurt him.
no subject
I bet he gets mad if you ignore him.
no subject
[And here, that is literally the most important thing.]
no subject
... Wonder if he'd be hurt by it. Not that Sigrun'll try, because seeing his face do that weird thing it did earlier makes her not want to. So.]
I'm pretty sure anyone who beats him long enough would eventually get him down, but I've gotta say, that guy is pretty indestructible, yeah. I don't think there's a weak point on his body. Besides his obvious blind spot.
[bitch can't see any attacks coming from the right guarantee it]
no subject
[He doesn't sound like that's an outlandish idea; these things happen sometimes.]
But bein' tough's the important part. You might get one hit on him from that side, but you ain't gonna get a second.
no subject
and apparently music can control people that's pretty cool]
Mmmmm. Ehhh. Yeah, I guess so. [Monsters are nothing against humans with hateful intentions, she remembers, looking vaguely distraught. For all his metal parts, he's still one of those.] Anyway, if I've got any part in it, they won't land a hit on him in the first place.
