Week 4.
And as the third week in the Vault comes to a close and the fourth week begins, the Survivors are once again down by two. Mion Sonozaki died on her own terms, and Yato died fulfilling his duty as God of Fortune in the best way that he knew how; the shrine built in the game room on Saturday stands in their memory. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fourth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; even if the Kingmaker sounded a bit unhappy with you last weekend, the fact remains that you're still doing what you seem to have been brought here to do. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 20 |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

Is... Is that alive? [GOD ARE THOSE EYEBALLS...]
no subject
It is very much alive! The easiest being I can compare it to would have to be, well, Mettaton. Klinklang is mechanical in nature as well.
You are more than welcome to approach it or touch it if you would like. It won't hurt you.
[The pile o' gears over there are still spinning away, possibly a little weirded out to be around so many strangers at once. But Colress seems okay with it, so...]

[What on earth is that?!]
That's an animal? It's the most fasciantin' thing I've ever seen.
no subject
Perhaps not an animal in the most direct sense, but a living creature most definitely.

[He holds out his hand for the Pokemon. He's not sure if it has a nose, but like how you greet a strange dog, he figures sniffing at his hand might be a good hello.]
no subject
Klinklang really does not understand the gesture either, which is more of a problem. It makes a confused whirring noise in Colress' direction.]
He's saying hello, Klinklang.
[Oh. Okay. That makes sense, then! It gives a little bow in return, not wanting to get too close and accidentally graze Gabriel's hand with its spiked outer rim.]
If you actually want to pet it, the upper left gear is your best bet.
no subject
Sorry about that, little guy.
[He reaches out to touch the upper left gear. Gently, of course, because Gabriel isn't a jerk.]
no subject
Congratulations Gabriel, you have petted a pile of gears.
The pile of gears likes it, apparently.]
no subject
Nah, this is about the weirdest thing he's ever done. Still, if a pile of sentient gears could ever be cute, Klinklang is adorable.]
Sweet little guy, innit?
no subject
[Klinklang makes a concerned whirring noise at that, while still letting Gabriel pet it. The Pokemon still can't understand why its trainer is having so many memory issues...or why they aren't back home right now.]
no subject
[And it sounds like it's worried, too.]
no subject
It has since evolved twice, once into Klang, and finally into Klinklang. Even with my dreams, I still do not have any memory of it doing this. That is why I did not immediately recognize it.
no subject
Evolve?
That means somethin' different in my world. You mean it changed how it looks?
no subject
Yes, that is exactly what I mean. Well, that is only one aspect of Pokemon evolution. When they change their appearance like that, they also become stronger than their previous form. Evolution is the solution if you are looking to train very strong Pokemon.

[......]
So you don't just keep 'em as pets?
no subject
[It's fine, Gabriel. Totally fine.]
no subject
Isn't that a bit dangerous for the animal?
