WEEK 4 And as the third week in the Vault comes to a close and the fourth week begins, the Survivors are once again down by two. Mion Sonozaki died on her own terms, and Yato died fulfilling his duty as God of Fortune in the best way that he knew how; the shrine built in the game room on Saturday stands in their memory. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fourth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; even if the Kingmaker sounded a bit unhappy with you last weekend, the fact remains that you're still doing what you seem to have been brought here to do. [It looks clean, actually - we are still looking at concrete here, but everything seems to be even and there's no signs of wear on it, either.

Just, you know. An opening where there previously was very obviously not one.]

[Yes, Hanamura had mentioned that much--and looking at this seems to confirm a few things for Bruce's end as well.

He moves down a level here now, keeping an eye on the stairs at the same time; and speaking of which--are the stairs continuous in spite of the space to step off, or are they able to be segmented individually into different sections for each respective level?]

[They are, in fact, continuous!]

[Oh. Well then. That's... something.

More things to take note of now.

Bruce goes one level down to reach the threshold between the second and third floor. Just as before he's going to be looking at this part again to study for pretty much the same thing. Is it still squeaky clean like above, or has being out here for a while already affected it in some way?]

[It seems pretty similar, though there is some wear from the past week and a half, yes - so it's not being closed and reopened again, or redone, or...whatever is happening here, in other words.]

[Yeah, that's what he expected. It's nice to see something finally going his way for once, no matter how small it is.

Just one more thing... Bruce climbs the stairs all the way back up to the top - or at least as high as he can reach. Do the stairs just keep going... up? As in are the stairs still going even though they're clearly past the point of needing to be there and the stairs just end up going into the ceiling above?]

[They don't, actually - they just stop at the floor you're on.]

[Oh--well then. That's something.

A sort of noticeable something to keep in mind, and honestly how has he not thought about this until now... but at least its something.
