Week 5.
Three more have joined the deceased this past week. Taichi Yagami was punished for breaking a rule, Megumi Sakura was killed, and Norman Bates... well, the less said about Norman, the better. A third of you are dead now; your losses are becoming more and more evident with each passing week. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fifth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you'll probably need the distraction after the last trial. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 17 |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week five of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

The trial had been taxing enough, and it still makes her uncomfortable to think about it. Everything's happened so quickly, so rapidly, and it's enough to make anyone's head spin. Norman had seemed so unassuming...
Then there had been the not-dream she'd had (which explains a lot, actually; why her clothes were so damaged when she arrived here, that "dream" about being in the realm of darkness, carrying Eraqus's Keyblade... the pieces all fit together now, and to be honest, Aqua's more angry than anything. Angry at herself--for being unable to save her friends, for falling for Xehanort's... well, everything.
And then the bloodbath she'd seen. It had been bad enough that Taichi had been punished for falling asleep outside his room (she still hates it and it's just proof of how unhinged their captor is, as far as she's concerned) but...
... She spends some time in the kitchen, as is her habit now. Aqua is a little less enthusiastic; her mouth is set in a hard line and sometimes she grabs something a little too roughly.
She ends up in the sauna a little later at night, mostly to clear her head. It at least allows her to think a little bit. Finally, after her trip to the sauna, Aqua takes to walking around the hallways--she can't sit still because the memory of Terra's hand around her throat is still so real. It's probably that she doesn't want to see that image when she closes her eyes.
Aqua does eventually retreat to room 15, where she's again working on a puzzle. There are even some board games, like Monopoly. Right now, she could use the company. ]
Kitchen
Cherryblod enters with the intention of cooking something, anything - he imagines Aqua has something of the same idea.]
Aqua. How are you holding up?
no subject
Well. She won't try to pretend anymore; Cherryblod, probably, should know better than anyone how she's holding up. But it's a courtesy she appreciates. There's a brief silence before she lets out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. ]
As well as anyone, I imagine.
What about you?
no subject
[There's still dust on his hands from smashing what was left of Mettaton's venting party from yesterday.]
no subject
[ Noting that... ]
Did you have fun yesterday?

Room 15
Hello, Aqua. How have you been holding up lately?
no subject
The same as many others, I imagine. [ She's sure she doesn't have to explain. ] What are you doing tonight, Mouri?
no subject
[Well he can't say he didn't expect it]
I had planned to start making some posters for an event I have in mind for later, but that is something I can do anytime. First I thought it would be good to check on some people.
[Procrastination is always something he'd love to indulge into]

[ She lifts one shoulder in a slight shrug, tracing her finger along one of those puzzle pieces. ]
That's very kind of you--I think it's something we all need. [ ... ] What sort of event?
no subject
I was thinking to give a self-defense class. Anyone who wishes to learn a few moves would be welcome! I don't promise to turn anyone into an expert but it should be of help.

Everything all right, sweetheart?
no subject
I would love to say yes--but...
[ ... ]
Would you like to join me?
no subject
[He'll come in, then, and he'll close the door behind him; he'll join her after a brief moment's pause.]
It's been kind of rough on everyone today.
no subject
[ It seems silly for her to say that, once she thinks about it. Could anyone have expected that to happen?
She won't say so, but... there had been signs--Cherryblod had reminded her of that. ]
It doesn't seem real--any of it, but especially what happened to the King.
no subject
[It's one of the few times he's actually said as much, in actual words; he's still smiling a bit and it's dissonant as hell, but it's more because he doesn't know what to do with his face.]
How are you feeling, though?

sauna;
The fact that there are only three other girls left who can even come into this room is proof enough that things aren't going as well as she had hoped, in terms of trying to bring everyone together. In fact, things seem to be getting even worse. Maybe she's just jumping to the worst conclusions after that dream she had, too...nothing's going right, really.
Thankfully, all of the other girls are welcome company that she feels pretty comfortable around, so when Aqua comes in, she forces a smile, but it seems a bit short-lived as it all comes out in an exasperated sigh. Putting up a facade is a bit tiring. ]
...Things have been a bit bad lately, huh?
no subject
At least they're getting a new floor, right?
Even that can't mollify her, though. It feels terrible--Aqua's never been happy about their reward, so to speak. Still... at least she still has friends here.
(For how long, even she's not sure--but, no, she can't think like that because it feels too much like giving up...
Aqua takes a seat next to Misa, letting out a breath. ]
"A bit" is a huge understatement, I'd say.
no subject
So Misa-Misa's been thinking of more things...to try and help everyone stay together, but, it looks like even that's not working too much either, so...
Misa-Misa can't tell if it's because she's not trying hard enough, or if it's because bringing people together just doesn't work.
no subject
[ ... ]
We've all been trying, Misa... haven't we? But it still never seems to work. I wonder if we just don't know one another enough for those attempts to really make an impact.
... But we have to try. We can't keep going like this.
no subject
[ She looks strained for a bit, like the stress is finally about to catch up with her all at once, until... ]
..Ugh, what am I saying?! Stupid Misa-Misa, starting to give up like this! T-tomorrow, Misa-Misa is going to try double hard! It doesn't even matter if that stupid Kingmaker gives out a motive, there's gonna be crosswords, and party invitations, and...and it's totally gonna work this time!

...you know, we really ought to be careful with Monopoly here.

I can see how a game like this can get very intense. My friends and I used to play a game like this back home.
