WEEK 5
Three more have joined the deceased this past week. Taichi Yagami was punished for breaking a rule, Megumi Sakura was killed, and Norman Bates... well, the less said about Norman, the better.

A third of you are dead now; your losses are becoming more and more evident with each passing week.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not...

Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fifth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you'll probably need the distraction after the last trial.

I hope he gets embarrassed. He used to when I kissed him and stuff, but now he doesn't. It's really annoying.

[Because she wants to embarrass him and make him feel stupid punchy feelings the way he does but he's more or less always collected.]

We've smooched a bit. Well, I mean, I've done it a bit. He's just kind of. Sat there.

It wasn't after I sang to him, by the way, the first time I kind of did it in the heat of the moment after he got me a gun. [Still the Best Thing.] He liked the song though. It made me feel really stupid in a good way. Even if he didn't kiss me afterwards.

Then I kept doing it after we made up. But he's totally used to it now, so I need to find somehow else to fry his circuits.

So he's not a good kisser, then...

Nice. It's nice. But it's also, you know. The thing that makes me want to punch someone. How does anyone stand it?

It's the greatest feeling in the world, once it blooms in full. The kind of thing that makes you stop thinking with your head and start thinking with your heart. The thing that makes you want to do whatever you can just to see their smile.

[It's true. It's not the greatest feeling in the world to Sigrun, admittedly, but it is high up there on the list. The short list.

She also feels like punching a wall at Misa's last sentence because goddamn, girl. time to test that "say nice things" instead?]

... I like it when he really smiles. I mean, he's always got that stupid performer's face on, but I kind of know when he's being real about it. Or when he's trying to be real about it. It's weird.
