Take Responsibility.
| And once the allotted time for investigating comes to a close, those elevator doors slide open at the end of the first-floor corridor, offering another of those fast, smooth rides down to that black void of a courtroom Twelve out of the original twenty-seven are dead; there are four less of you present for this trial than there were last week. That's incredibly obvious as soon as the doors slide open and the podium circle comes into view where it's encircling that dark pit in the center of the room; Norman, the King, Tarrlok, and Lynne have joined the deceased, photographs in greyscale watching the proceedings from their podiums draped in black. Of course and as always, the Kingmaker is watching too; he waits until everyone is settled at their podiums to begin speaking, though it's still impossible to tell exactly where his voice is coming from. "Assured and Perceiving have been taken from you. You guys are really getting excited, aren't you? Two people dead in one night... Whether the guilty party succeeds or not, though, is up to the rest of you." Fifteen Survivors remain. However many will be down by the end of the day is up to you. |

SELECTION.
Someone needs to take responsibility for their actions.

For what it's worth, I never had any ill will against you. Still don't.

But I'm not gonna go down screaming your secret, I promise. ...I still wish we could have been friends.

...It was nice, when we still were friends.

Take care of yourself, Misa. I'm glad we met and that I could be your friend, even for just a little while.

CAPTIVATING
It's getting pretty lonely in my corner now, you know. And now it's just me and Aqua as far as girls go. That's the one thing I won't forgive you for, Misa.

[Just a moment of honest humanity over leadership, here.]
But thanks. I'll do what I can.
... And I'll give you the win on our little challenge from before, too. You really do love that guy too much.

You still have that lucky charm I made you, don't you? The Wayfinder? I hope you can show it to him, when you see him.

Maybe it's because he likes her; that's the simple, self-centered reason. He likes her, so he doesn't want to upset himself. But there's something else that's bothering him, and it takes him a moment to place what it is - in the end, though, it comes down to one notion, that being that she could have killed anyone she wanted. It could have been Cherryblod, or Sigrun, or him, but for some reason it wasn't. And that's self-centered too, horribly so - two people are dead today because of this girl - but...]
>ASSURED
[No one's going to see his vote anyway; it doesn't really matter in the end. But she chose not to kill them; he's not going to vote to kill her.]

[ And it's almost over. Time to put on that trained actress smile. ]
Make sure you guys stay smiling for me now, okay? Misa-Misa won't be around to throw parties and give out crosswords anymore, you have to do all of that yourself! Try and beat Misa-Misa's high score on the dancing game! Eat all the sweets you can until your belly bursts! And love each other lots!

Re: SELECTION.
[...Bruce would say something, but there's probably nothing good to say here.]
...we'll do our best, Miss Misa.
