There's a good amount of confusion, and rightfully so. After all, aside from the rules in purple listed on the wall, there isn't much to explain how you got here or why you're here. Don't worry though. It seems like you won't be left to your own devices for very long. There's a brief moment of static - not loud enough to be particularly grating, but enough to let you know that something's about to happen - before a voice addresses all of you from somewhere unseen. "Hello. I hope you all slept well. I was a bit worried after..." It sounds like it's coming from somewhere above you. There doesn't appear to be anything it's coming from, however. There's a brief pause before the voice resumes speaking. "I'm sure you all have a lot of questions for me. I don't mind answering them. Before you ask anything, I'd like you to examine the rules again. They're posted in every room." The voice is masculine, but there isn't anything to note about it otherwise. "I am the Kingmaker. Welcome to the Vault."

... Ah... The King is reminded of... videogames. [ Basically, the first half sounded cool, and the latter half made him want to internally scream. A GIANT'S MOUTH, REALLY... ]

The King does not know if his citizens can handle such stress.

The King enjoyed videogames, before he became a king. Videogames are like interactive storybooks! The King said he played battle ones too.

But The King liked crafting ones most. Videogames let you do many things you could not normally do.

The King said, he did not like the old society he was in. [ Hated it, really. ] The old society was full of cruel birds. The King did not want to go out to meet them. If he does not go out to meet them, they cannot meet him.

[ Somehow, this whole thing went from an incredibly awkward first conversation about possibly getting eaten, and now The King, moved, was quietly shedding happy tears.

The King... The King is very grateful for those words! The King absolutely agrees, being tied down by bad things is not good.

He does his best now, and is not the bird he was before. [ Okay, maybe not now-now with the being stuck in a Vault, but you get the idea. ]

And you're fit to lead anyone! Anyone who cares that much about his people is a good leader in my opinion, being as I have experience leading myself and all. You might be young, or you might not be young, but you're definitely got the heart for it.
