Week 9.
For the first time since your stay in the Vault began, no one died this week. That doesn't mean there weren't casualties among you, however – namely, trust, interpersonal relationships, and comfort in the group dynamic as a whole. Hopefully no one else pays the price for it. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. You're safe for now – unless your dreams have told you otherwise... |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week nine of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins; don't forget to submit your memory regains! There is no activity check this week!
THIS IS THE LAST WEEK TO REDEEM COINS!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]
Bar, Sigrun
He's seeking Sigrun out, so despite the bar not being his usual place to hang out, he peers in anyway to see if she's in there. Aha.]
Miss Sigrun...might I have a word?
[He's awkwardly standing in the entrance now.]

Though she doesn't look particularly torn about that bit, halfway through flipping her book over before she stops.]
... In private, or do you mind joining me over here?
no subject
Here is fine.
[So he'll go on over and take a seat next to Sigrun. There's a bit of a pause as he considers his plan of attack for this conversation. Yes, apparently he needs one of those or...something.
He doesn't change his volume though. Black is welcome to listen in. Though Colress does sound a bit strained even talking about this.]
I wanted to ask you when you would like to make another attempt at contacting the others. I...know you wanted to be there for a successful interaction.
[He has no idea if this one will be successful though- the others weren't.]

Tomorrow for sure, sweetheart. You can get a nice rest tonight, too, because they're fine -- I talked to Glory early today and they gave them the warning we asked them to, and from the sounds of it they're as high-energy as ever.
[... She really hopes they like Glory, actually, because she likes Glory and they should too.]

[Colress was already confused when Sigrun started grinning out of nowhere, but uh. That definitely throws him off completely. His expression is a mixture of confusion, shock, and...relief.
After everything that happened earlier in the week, that is literally the best thing he has heard in a long time. Colress is definitely having some sort of Emotion right now and he doesn't really know how to handle that.
He'll settle on a shaky smile for now.]
I am so glad to hear that. You and Glory have my utmost thanks.
[He really needs to go thank them in person.]
Glory has been quite a value to us, haven't they...

[She's glad to see Colress well, too. She'll inform the others at the meeting tomorrow -- if there is one, if there's not she'll organize it herself -- but Colress of all people is someone she wanted to tell.]
I don't know how to thank them. If there's some way to bring people back from the dead [which... really, isn't an idea she likes, from the look on her face, because the dead should stay dead] then I... guess I'd like to do that and help them escape with us, or otherwise help them find peace so they're not just wandering around the way they seem to have been.
no subject
...I agree. At the very least, I want to make sure everyone can leave here. I wouldn't know how to feel if we escaped but had to leave the spirits behind.
[They must be bound here in some way if they're still hanging around like this, right? Perhaps if bringing them back to life is not an option, then releasing them has to be...]
no subject
[By whatever means necessary.]
no subject
Well said. I am glad that we think similarly on that front.
If we get a chance to speak with them again, you should tell them that as well. A bit of additional reassurance couldn't hurt.
no subject
[And give them a head's up about what she's going to reveal tomorrow at the meeting too. Her plan.]
What a list. Just mind that I have to bring kitten over there with me too, since he's my duty, though I'm sure he's afraid of what they might've seen and what they might say.

[He's civil about it, but there's obviously an implication that Black better be holding up his end of the deal about not contacting the Kingmaker about these things anymore. He's sure Sigrun has it covered, though. There may be untrustworthy aspects about her, but Colress thinks she's taking the caretaker role pretty seriously.]
...And, well, that makes two of us, I suppose.
[Black has waaaay more of a reason to be concerned, but Colress is pretty sure a lot of people didn't come off so great during that "trial".]
It will be a mending process for everyone, the living and non-living. ...I do hope we can pull ourselves together at some point, though.
