Week 9.

WEEK 9 For the first time since your stay in the Vault began, no one died this week. That doesn't mean there weren't casualties among you, however – namely, trust, interpersonal relationships, and comfort in the group dynamic as a whole. Hopefully no one else pays the price for it. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. You're safe for now – unless your dreams have told you otherwise... SURVIVORS REMAINING: 10

[After a few more private things in the morning, Sigrun and Black head to room 24 to pick up his things and move them to her room, though they won't linger long as they've got Things To Do.

First up is the conference room, where she makes Black sit down in a chair to busy himself while she takes up her trusty chalk and writes a very simple sentence for her ghost friend:

... After that, they swing by the dining hall, though only Black goes in (to vote and grab them lunch), and then they're going to hang up at the bar, Sigrun writing in a sketchpad and Black... playing a song on the piano there.

It's apparently the only one he knows besides "minuets" whatever those are. Additionally, they're both drinking, as one does in a bar.

Their last stop of the day is to the sewing room, where Black's going to start on Sigrun's requested dress. She looks really bored. He seems to be concentrating. It's great.

Like at the afterparty, they won't be butting into each other's conversations too much, so simply note who you're gonna converse with somewhere in your tag and that's good enough!]

Sewing Room, paging Sigrun

[Cherryblod's more wandering the lower floors than patrolling at this point, and when he sees Sigrun through the doorway, he sticks his head inside.]

Busy, captain?

[Ah, Cherryberry. She watches Black for a moment before shaking her head.]

Not really. What d'you need, sweetheart?

Just to know how you're holding up.

[Always priority number one.]

I'm okay. I didn't have any dreams last night, though, so I guess I really am all up to date... or whatever. But kind of miss dreaming about my world.

[Since she doesn't really dream otherwise.]

I heard you have a leader vote thing up. Are you gonna keep that up there the whole week, or just a few days? I figure there's a few people who won't be having an opinion just yet. It's... a pretty hard thing to think about, at this point of time.

this one's still alive, so i'm getting him to make up for it since my boyfriend can't
we had another spy who quit and someone who was offered but refused with us too so we're a real bunch

meanwhile i think there's a very small chance of the majority wanting me to be leader anymore
i'm still going to be there for them and i won't give up in trying to save everyone, but it's up to them to decide if they still want to follow me or not
i wouldn't blame them if they didn't

[He's peeking around the door, looking nervous- not as bad as he did last night, but not great]

[... Well, isn't that a welcome surprise here. Sigrun'll look back at Black for a moment, then back at Yosuke, jerking her head at the piano.

Him??]

[He shakes his head]

[Oooh.

Her.

Okay. She'll flip her sketchbook over and make her way over, looking down at him.]

I'm not going to bite you, you know.

Bar - Hey Black

[Mouri enters the bar. He doesn't seem to be in mood for levity, and a single glance to his face should tell you that. Yeah, he's still angry about everything.

There is the person he was looking for. Well, Sigrun is there too but she is not someone he wants to interact with right now. Still, she is Black's guardian so may as well talk to her first]

Eide-san, I'd like to speak to Black.

[Hello, kid, how are you going with the piano. Even if Sigrun says he can't talk with Black like hell Mouri is going to listen]

You're welcome to, detective, but if I feel things are getting out of hand I will step in. Understood?

[She's not in a mood for playing either, obviously.]

I didn't expect anything different.

[If there's one thing Sigrun at least can do it is being protective. That's something Mouri can trust her to do.

So, Black...there you are. Mouri is going to bring something to sit. He wants to go straight to the point, but he knows Black may be too alert and take things wrongly. Besides Sigrun is there and surely she's going to tackle Mouri and throw him out of the bar if he does something wrong, so...better be safe than sorry]

Is everything okay, Black-kun? Nobody has tried to hurt you or anything?

Bar, paging Sigrun

[Stan spares a long glance for Black as he enters, brow furrowing a little. But he's not gonna interrupt the playing, and he wanted to talk to Sigrun anyway.]

Hey, Sigrun. [Apparently her usual nickname is on vacation.] How're you two holdin' up?

[That's fine if it is.]

Better than the other day. Mostly. I've got a few things on my mind here and there, but that's just how it is, and kitten's... keeping himself busy. How about you?

About the same. [Stan shrugs.] I've known for a while I fucked up - it ain't like I never thought about what'd happen if it got out. Went better than I ever expected, so I've got no room to complain.

What's the deal with the voting thing downstairs?

[Colress has been a little scarce since whole not-trial thing, but today he's out and about in attempt to pull it together. There are some really important things to focus on, after all.

He's seeking Sigrun out, so despite the bar not being his usual place to hang out, he peers in anyway to see if she's in there. Aha.]

Miss Sigrun...might I have a word?

[He's awkwardly standing in the entrance now.]

[She's so popular today, and her letter is never getting done.

Though she doesn't look particularly torn about that bit, halfway through flipping her book over before she stops.]

... In private, or do you mind joining me over here?

[So he'll go on over and take a seat next to Sigrun. There's a bit of a pause as he considers his plan of attack for this conversation. Yes, apparently he needs one of those or...something.

He doesn't change his volume though. Black is welcome to listen in. Though Colress does sound a bit strained even talking about this.]

I wanted to ask you when you would like to make another attempt at contacting the others. I...know you wanted to be there for a successful interaction.

[He has no idea if this one will be successful though- the others weren't.]

And from the look on his face, he certainly hadn't expected to see them come here.

[... Part of her wants to let him go, but part of her knows it's not right, so she'll be blocking his way. Black can go make himself at home, judging from the jerk of her head.]

Nice seeing you around, doctor. Do you mind if we have a word?

[...Bruce at least doesn't try to fight back against Sigrun or do anything dumb when she blocks him, though its clear that he also would rather be anywhere else other than in the same place with her (and Black).]

Could I say 'no'?

[It's just a little bit snippy, a hint of irritation bleeding through - but its really just a lot more of exhaustion than anything else.]
