Week 9.
For the first time since your stay in the Vault began, no one died this week. That doesn't mean there weren't casualties among you, however – namely, trust, interpersonal relationships, and comfort in the group dynamic as a whole. Hopefully no one else pays the price for it. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. You're safe for now – unless your dreams have told you otherwise... |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week nine of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins; don't forget to submit your memory regains! There is no activity check this week!
THIS IS THE LAST WEEK TO REDEEM COINS!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

THE POSSIBLY FINAL MEETING
The usual meeting notice is as usual pinned on the bulletin boards in the dining hall - and as with most of the previous weeks it asks for everyone to gather in the dining hall at 11AM. Food will once again be provided. Surprisingly, said food this time is pancakes. A treat that doesn't seem to suit the incredibly weathered and exhausted looking Bruce Banner.
He waits for everyone to get their pancakes and settle down, and cracks open his notebook, his pen out, ready to take down all the necessary notes once more.]
...we've all had some time to cool down after Friday. [He starts, voice soft and tired, possibly sounding a bit on the edge of exhaustion.] First, let's go through whatever information we can get from the people who had been working with the Kingmaker. [Mostly Black, of course, but... anything helps. And its probably best not to be specific anyway.] Then we'll go through the usual round of bringing up whatever anybody wants to voice out or suggest.
[A brief pause, and then he adds on, almost inaudibly.]
...and no more secrets, please. I think we've all had enough of those.
no subject
[That's the price he paid for getting out early, he guesses - not too much to show for it.]
no subject
[...and its not like getting out early is a bad thing, after all.]
no subject
There... is a moment where she'd been hesitant in her writing, though, and they'll get to see why at the end.]
glory got in contact with everyone and warned them like we asked
the ghosts are ok too
they ask them a lot of questions, so it sounds like they're well
black has a lot of information though neither of us know if it'll be helpful
mettaton's room didn't have anything useful in it
i have a plan, kind of
no subject
[Mouri points at the last line. It wouldn't hurt to have a plan. Everyone knows they need one]
no subject
so this might sound like a bad idea
and actually i say i have a plan kind of but really i've already started it
but i'm using black to spy for us
i'm allowing him to have contact with km ONLY when i'm in the room
pretending to be sleeping, mostly
black's acting like he's playing the field, basically, that hopefully km thinks black's really on his side by telling him my plan for him already
no subject
[He actually did. The day before, when he was talking to Black, he was testing the waters to see if he could rely on Black for that.
At least Mouri didn't have to lend Black a phone, that wouldn't work]
It can work.
no subject
So that's all from me.

...but still. Natasha and Clint were spies. Its not like he doesn't know the necessity of subterfuge, and... at least he can think that Black won't try anything. At least possibly because of Yosuke.
So after a long pause Bruce tears out a page from his notebook and writes something on it before he slides it over in Sigrun's general direction. On it are just three words:]
Don't get caught.
[...it's as much of an approval as she's ever going to get from Bruce.]

A deep breath, and—he'll start talking; his voice is firmer than usual. It has to be. ]
Like Miss Sigrun's written, I have a lot of information, but I don't know if it's going to be particularly helpful. [ He'll set his notebook in the middle of them, handwriting as small and neat as ever. There's notes on his conversations, and—pay attention to that last bit, guys.
Don't talk about it out loud. ]
He wasn't ever particularly useful, but he had interesting answers and responses, sometimes. We mostly talked over text since he preferred his reports on it, and it was easier for me to do while I was working. [ Then all he had to do was check, not be actively listening. ]
That's all.
[ ...please don't hate him for getting back in contact with him, nor for Sigrun suggesting the idea... ]

There's a lot here.
[Idle observation, not judgement.]
...I hope some of it gets us somewhere.

[Just very business like here. Bruce is doing his best to put aside all his emotions right now for the sake of the Plan™.]

... I've got some new things to ask too, ooh. Maybe he won't hang up on me this time.

[He spreads out some-... not!Dungeons and Dragons character sheets out. Most of the writing on them is messy and half erased, like the players had no idea what they where doing. But one sheet is way nicer and has a name: Hilda]
Think this might be our mysterious 'H'? Speedwagon, you got the pendent?
no subject
That's a good name.
[... Her only contribution.]
... What are "these" anyway?
