[ Well, that was an extraordinary trial to have... it was certainly filled with many things that wouldn't be lost to the memory of most, even for weeks to come. Although, the return to "normalcy" could be something that wouldn't seem like it was wanted, it was better than the alternative to returning to anything at all.

With ease, Mikazuki find himself setting up the usual party in the usual place-- that would be the library of course. Notes have been slipped underneath the doors of others, or hung up on the walls to alert them of this post-trial "celebration" -- which was more like a get-together of some sorts now than a real party. ]


Please join us in the library again. Of course, food and drink will be provided.

[ Viktor doesn't attend the afterparty this time; instead he makes some fried rice for himself and heads back to his room because he isn't exactly in the mood for social interaction. The trial was exhausting and he's still furious over what happened to Chiyuki.

The door's locked but he'll probably answer if you knock. ]

[officerhops]

[Usually she'd just leave people alone, but...oh Viktor. She's worried about you.

So there will be a soft, padded sounding knock at his door, coming from Judy's height.]

Viktor? Just...just checking to make sure you're okay.

[quadruples]

[ Viktor opens the door after a short delay, and it's pretty obvious that he's been crying; his eyes are puffy and he's made absolutely no effort to wipe away his tears. ]

I'm fine, Judy.

[officerhops]

[Oh honey, you are not fine.]

Can...I come in? For just a minute?

[quadruples]

...Yeah. Sure. [ He'll step aside so she can enter his room. ]

[officerhops]

[Judy pads in carefully, her ears drooping behind her head.]

You, uh...keep your room very clean. It's nice.

[Smooth.]

[Gentle knocking. Hanyuu's come by, with some tea, and some fish.]

[ He opens the door and stares at the food with puffy eyes. His face is still wet from crying. ]

...Ah. You didn't have to bring food, Hanyuu. I made fried rice for myself.

[oyashiromama]

[The tears on his face... She smiles cutely to try and chase some of them away.]

Well, some forget to eat when stressed, and I didn't see you at the gathering, so I wanted to be sure.

[quadruples]

I'll save the fish and the tea for later, then. Thank you, I appreciate it.

[ He wipes at his face with the back of his hand; honestly, it's been so long since he last cried he almost forgot that you're supposed to dry your tears. ]

[oyashiromama]

[Her smile falls, to a sad one, and she hands him the food, so her hands will be free to place on his arms.]

May I come in? Leaving you alone right now doesn't seem right. [Dislikes: being alone]

[ravagers]

[ Vanille's... pretty worried about him, and...

Well. Here she is knocking at his door. ]

[ There's a delay because he considers ignoring the knocking, but he answers eventually. His face is red and wet; looks like he's been crying quite a bit. ]

...Shouldn't you be with the others in the library?

[ravagers]

[ Oh no. Vanille shakes her head. ]

Not when a friend needs someone to talk to... or just to be with.

[quadruples]

...I don't know if I want to talk.

[ He's the kind of person who is used to keeping his problems to himself, or only sharing them with his dog, who cannot speak or understand in a meaningful way, only a simplistic "master is upset today". ]

But I'm not opposed to the company.

[ravagers]

That's alright. I don't mind just sitting with you.

[ She pauses. ]

I could get something to eat or drink for you if you'd like.

[introspects]

[ Viktor... Orihime was also really worried about him. She remembers how upset he was during the trial; he and Chiyuki really seemed to get along. It's sad, to see him like this.

Orihime knocks at his door a few times. She's brought some creampuffs with her, too. ]

Nikiforov-san...?

[quadruples]

[ It takes a little while, but he'll open the door. His face is red and wet from crying, and he's made no effort to wipe away his tears. ]

...Hi.

[introspects]

[ Seeing him like this breaks her heart.

Orihime sets down the plate of creampuffs behind her and moves in to give Viktor a warm hug. ]

I'm so sorry about Chiyuki-san.

[quadruples]

[ Viktor doesn't say anything, but he does put his arms around her, hugging right back and not wanting to let go anytime soon. ]

[introspects]

[ If the circumstances were better, Orihime would be more excited about getting to hug a celebrity from the future. But right now, she's not thinking of that; Viktor is human, too, and he doesn't deserve to be going through this at all.

Orihime moves her hand to gently rub his back up and down, trying to comfort him as much as she can. ]

[Gold's visiting Viktor before he heads over to the afterparty; how long he'll stay there is anyone's guess, but for now he's got a door to knock on.]

[ When Viktor opens the door, Gold will be met with puffy eyes and tear stained cheeks. It's not a pretty sight. ]

Least I know that you're not pretty all the time now. Still makes me mad that I think you're at least an eight.

[... But he's trying to make a joke, see, even if. Viktor is very much an eight. Haha.

[ Movies usually don't do the gross snot and all that. ]

...I don't mind. [ He steps aside so Gold can enter his room. There are few things around; the plush is on his bed and the envelope containing his secret is on his desk next to a plate of half-eaten fried rice. ]
