WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 23 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 22 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 20

Well, there are some books in the library, I'm sure...

[ Orihime, unfortunately, could not find a book on autopsies. However, she's going to look for something else--something related to what was mentioned at the meeting. Time travel.

Suddenly, she sees Viktor. The compliment makes her a little flustered, despite how haggard she seems. ]

O-Oh! Thank you, Nikiforov-san. I...didn't really know how to fix it, so...

Pool

[Lusamine's gonna be coming into the pool to relax a bit--being around some kind of water again is something that helps matters a lot. Even so, she pauses a bit when she sees someone else inside...

...Well, she'll just change first and then go swim in to join Hanyuu. It certainly looks like she's concentrating hard...

...and hopefully she's can hear her at least somewhat when she speaks--]

Enjoying yourself, Ms. Furude? You seem quite focused.

It must be. ...take good care of them, and they'll take care of you, you know?

Spend as much treasured time with them as you can.

[ The ruffling of papers grabs her attention, alerting her that someone else is here. That someone is Watanuki, and he definitely does seem focused on something. ]

Hi, Watanuki-kun...! Um, what are you working on?

[introspects]

...I see why you're so busy at work, now. That's a lot of things you remembered.

[ She always knew Phi was smart, but she had no idea this was the kind of thing she'd been through. ]

Then... you too, keep remembering things that are...troubling. Is that so?

I... I know.

We've lost so many of our numbers in such a short period of time.

[The right height, the right stature, but that is very definitely- Hanyuu does a small double-take when she sees Orihime.]

You've...a new look?

I... I am glad that you can relate. It's... not something I thought anyone here would know anything about.

I would assume it's uncommon no matter where in the universe you are.

[Her hair's pretty simple, if abundant, but that's not what gives Hanyuu pause, solely.]

In the book he doesn't sing to them at all. As I mentioned, he just gives them pasta and leaves them be.

[iaspis]

[Being a brawler means that Jasper is used to, well, other people with similar fighting styles to her own. That means she's not at all expecting him to glide over her head. She tries to spin around, but isn't quite fast enough.

The blow lands.

She curses in pain, but all that really means is that she's going to double her efforts and go in for another swift attack, regardless of where he currently is.]

We really have.

[ The murders and trials, Milla, Mercy... ]

Please...please don't do anything rash.

[introspects]

Eh...?

[ A new look--well... ] S-Something like that, yes, ehe... How are you holding up, Hanyuu-san?

[iaspis]

....Kimbley asked me the same thing.

[She sounds like she's not quite sure how to handle such a request.]

I'll... do what I can, to prevent anything else from happen.

Getting killed here would be pointless.

Especially with that shadow thing.

[ There's honestly just a lot on his mind and he just gives her a nod before pulling his hands back. He just doesn't want to sit still right now.]

I'm gonna stay here for a bit.

Ask around to see if anyone knows how to touch it up?

I don't know. Maybe to remember people.

I found a book - well, I got it out of the vending machine, and I can't really read it at all.

[ But this isn't reverent here in front of the profiles. She sighs, shaking her head and waves a hand dismissively ]

Sorry your pals died.

[matchbreaker]

[He studies him for a bit after he pulls his hands from her and she clasps her hands in front of her chest.]
