WEEK 8.
Orihime Inoue and Mikazuki Munechika are dead thanks to the Wordsmith's motive. While only two have died this past week, it feels much emptier around here now. There's only ten of you left. There's so few of you now. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Unfortunately, regardless of how well you may or may not have done this week, it seems that there's nothing else for you here. No new floors have opened up below the seventh; it looks like for now, that truly is all. Perhaps it's a good sign. Perhaps it's one of the worst yet. Only time will tell. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 8 |

[OOC: Welcome to week eight of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

... Honestly, it was probably a little bit denial-based. Or escapism? Really though, that's fine. Elda goes to the the vending machine today and gets... fun? Stuff. A fair bit of fun stuff. Once she moves it to a combination of Rooms 11 and 20, Elda puts on the gift from Orihime to see how it fits (pretty well, all things considered!) and then sets up shop elsewhere with those 20 megaphones. Or at least a dozen or so of them.
Namely, she spreads them all out on the dining room table and uses one of hem to call for for whoever comes past: ]
Come on, get a free megaphone! I don't need all these! They sure make a lot of noise!
[ Later in the day, though, she's making a much more subdued noise, she's going to the ballroom (she could have gone to the music room, but nah...) to practice on the piano there, trying to work out her old memories about how to play the thing. ... Or, as Guzma put it, more "freestyling" than anything. ]
dining room
I already have one of those.
[Why are there so many now?]
no subject
[ A beat. ]
Want another? You can hold two?
no subject
[And knowing who it really belongs to, well, she's not sure if she wants another reminder.]
no subject
Are you sure?!
no subject
Y-yes, I'm rather sure.
no subject
I don't know, this is pretty fun, I think!!
no subject
[Except once when she was rather upset and she screamed into a megaphone.]
no subject
You can definitely make sure people hear you!

Aw yes. Megaphones. I want that stuff.

I guess the Wordsmith just isn't gonna pick it up if he sees the call's from me now, though.

Dining Room
So when she goes into the dining room and sees Elda, she goes right up to her while holding the crown of purple carnations and dahlia out.]
How about we make a trade instead, hm?
no subject
You actually made one?! I do hope Silver gets one too!
[ But all the same, she's actually leaping up out of her chair, her eyes shining a little to see the result! This. Sounds fun? Yes, Fun. ]
no subject
[She'll do Elda one better, actually--she walks over and puts the crown right on Elda's head, smiling at the way the flowers match. She mostly picked them for color, and it seems like it fits nicely...]
There you are. I hope you find it satisfactory, hm?
no subject
Oh, now you're going to make me go find a mirror. I'm sure I look about as good as you with your own crown!
[ She giggles a little for it, actually. ]
no subject
[Lusamine looks mock offended, but she laughs never the less.]
I would certainly hope so. I chose flowers that would match with you...I simply couldn't do anything less. That is the whole purpose of these crowns, is it not?
no subject
[ A sage nod. ... But then sort of making sure it didn't slip ]
no subject
[...hmm. You know.]
I believe those are...purple carnations, and dahlia. Do those have some kind of meaning to them?
no subject
... Honestly, all of those can be so vague. But dignity, grace. Good taste? [ Perhaps a little instability, depending, but hey. ]
