WEEK 3 Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Of course they are.

...But it's not as though I could kill someone of my own choice. If I did that, I'd just be dooming either myself or the people I care for here to death anyway. And I'm not quite far gone enough to sacrifice myself yet.

It's nice. I don't know the names of all the instruments in here - music's not really my forte.

[Bruce glances up and towards Stan when the other man enters, pausing in his fiddling.]

Nothing much. Just needed to clear my head a little. [And King is sleeping in his room, so...] What about you?

It's no pool... but at least it's cheered some people up. I think I've seen Mettaton in here constantly since it opened up.

[Not so strange for Bruce - she's a military woman after all, and she's just being practical. Bruce can't fault her for that.]

She's doing her best to help, in her own way.

Well, maybe. But she's shy, so it might take some time, and honestly I'm happy as long as she's happy.
