Week 3.
Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

"...I trust you."
[When Stan wakes up, he could cry for joy.
Maybe he does, even, but by the time he leaves his room for the day all that's left is an obvious, profoundly good mood. He whistles to himself as he makes blueberry pancakes in the kitchen - enough for everybody this time without even prompting. Why the hell not?
Exploration comes later. He can't even really find it in himself to get mad over the washing machines, though a part of him still notes it. The music room doesn't seem to have a karaoke machine, so whatever. After all that talk about music magic, he guesses it's some kinda jab at Caren. He knows that. He didn't even dislike the girl all that much. But it's like the weight of the world is finally, finally off his shoulders. How can he get upset all over again now?
The game room seems like the perfect way to maintain his current high. He pokes around for a little bit, but quickly settles down with a pack of cards at the poker table.]
Hey! You know how to play poker?

You seem to be in very high spirits, for some reason. Did something good happen?

[He shrugs. We probably all know how this shit goes by now.]

[Just give it time and an object to spark your own future suffering, Mouri. Don't tempt your luck]
What was the dream about?

[Stan turns his focus to flipping a pancake. That's something he'd never thought of - does it even matter what he tells people now? He never dared to consider what might happen after, not when it all seemed so impossible and far away. If he'd had time right after he got the thing started again he would've had to make some plans, but he ended up here instead...
...maybe he did think about it and he's just forgotten.]

[ She actually looks excited at the idea of gambling. ]

So, what will you bet?

[Stan places a Love Affair Ring on the table.]
Pretty nice, if ya like that kinda thing. [It would never fit on any of his fingers.]

Then I'll bet this.

You seem to be in a good mood this morning.

[Stan laughs and flips a flapjack.] You want a pancake?
no subject
I'd love one. Thank you.

[He slides one of the finished pancakes onto her plate.] Blueberry! Probably doesn't even have any of my hair in it!
[HE IS JOKING]

If there were, I'd have to notify the health officials here. Hair in food is a very serious crime.
