WEEK 3 Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Speaking of me jeopardizing your future career - what is it you're planning on going into?

[He looks back down at the guitar, plinking out a few nonsense notes. And shrugs in that way petulant teenagers always do]

I dunno.

...You have time. Most people your age don't know what they want to do with their lives, either. And it isn't as if going into college means you have to have everything figured out.

I guess. I mean, worse comes to worse I can just work for my dad.

[cherryblooded]

You could, but... I wouldn't want to have worked for my parents for my career, personally. They were nice enough people, but that would have strained our relationship a lot.

[garudynamic]

I work at the store already but... ya know, part time is way different. A lot of people in Inaba have family businesses... so they already know what they're gonna do. But we're... new money? Outsiders? I don't really have any attachment to the store or anything like that. I just have no idea what I'd want to do instead- I think I'd go nuts if I stayed on.

You'll find something. Try everything when you're young, and eventually you'll come across something you want to keep doing. You don't have to settle on it right away, but there's something out there for you.

...I sound like an old man when I'm giving life advice like that, don't I?

Well you kinda ARE an old man.

I still have a few hundred years left in me, excuse you.

Reminding you that my daughter is your age. Are you planning on having children any time soon, Yosuke?

N-no way! Okay, in a few years then! Or like, 50? I dunno how that converts.

Well, maybe. But she's shy, so it might take some time, and honestly I'm happy as long as she's happy.

Fair, fair. I mean I definitely can't picture having kids either. She's cute though! I bet she has lots of guys interested in her.
