Week 3.
Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

Miss Misa made this suggestion to me after--well, what happened, especially in the last two weeks, and I'd like to ask for everyone's opinions on it first.
Essentially, in addition to Mister Tarrlok's night patrol, an additional curfew would be imposed on ourselves along with the Kingmaker's nighttime alarm. This curfew just makes it that everyone who isn't involved with the night patrol that night should stay in their own rooms until nighttime is over. In this manner, it would add another layer of security to prevent incidents from occurring.
I don't wish to enforce this on everyone, but it would be rather beneficial, so I'd like to first get everyone's opinion on the matter.

[Especially since Bruce himself can understand the need to just... get around.]
Of course, if somebody does want to stay up my own suggestion would be to be with the night patrols - at least in that way there is safety, plus a solid alibi should anything occur.

[and that's kind of one of those "just look at what that thought says about you" questions, but you know what, there we go.]

I can't say I didn't think about that. But to be honest, nothing is going to be entirely one hundred percent foolproof.
[They just have to... well, trust.]

...Hopefully it would do some good, though there's no saying how many people will follow it.

[Which is why he wanted everyone's thoughts on this.]
If we do want to do this, it has to be something all of us can agree on.
no subject
[He knows, Bruce. He knows.]
...It's whether any amount of us would really follow it in the long run.
no subject
I agree. There's no point trying to make it work if people don't want to follow through.

[...and they're down one. uh.]

I'll be the first to admit that it's probably not the most feasible suggestion.

[his nervousness about going against the grain vs the idea of spending his sleepless nights in his room, alone with his thoughts.
VICTORY TO FEAR OF SELF-REFLECTION]
I don't, uh, really think it's all that necessary. We're all adults here, right? We can, um... handle ourselves, probably.

I certainly don't want to impose this either if people are against it. If we want to do it, it has to be agreed by everyone.

We are in the same room - and I'll be in the night patrol either way, so I can always be with you when you need it.
[...did others know they were in the same room? No? WELL NOW THEY KNOW.]
no subject
Well, you do you, doc. Whatever floats your boat.
