Week 3.
Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

"Yeah. Kira was doing it to make the world a better place. You didn't even know that, shinigami?"
...
"The current Kira is a vile and pathetic human. Who knows what he'll do? Watch out for him and the other Yotsuba people. ...If worst comes to worst, I'll kill him, but I'd rather not die for this scumbag. I want to be around for some insurance. You'll know who Kira is, but you'll have to trust Light and do as he pleases."
Well, that shouldn't be too much of a problem. She already loves Light more than anything. That much was certainly obvious. ...But this Kira in the Yotsuba Group, that was just plain weird. Could it really be true? And why didn't she recognize Rem..? These dreams were making her head hurt the more she thinks about them...
"You haven't changed, Misa. Those feelings for Light will never change, will they...? I also now believe that your happiness is found by staying by Light's side and supporting him."
Ugh, where is Rem now..? The more she thinks about it, the more she wants to hug her tight, but...why couldn't she see her? And why didn't she have her eyes? She didn't have them in her dream, either...
"No matter how much you want to help, you must not reveal the existence of the notebook or me to anyone."
Well, for now, that shouldn't be too difficult. She's already been keeping mum and playing off her actual feelings about well, that whole thing to begin with, and she's found that was already paying off for her, as much as it pained her to say things like that sometimes. But this is a desperate circumstance, and she's positive that things are a bit better this way.
Even so, after everything that happened with Cherry yesterday...
Ugh. The terror is gone, and the rage she wanted to feel before is in full swing, overshadowing the questions she still has about her dream. As much as she loves having the stage in the music room now, because that'll definitely help with the talent show she wants to plan out, she can't bring herself to do much more than sit in front of the piano and just...kind of bang on the keys a bit. Not exactly elegant or graceful, really. But she's trying(?)
After that passes, she'll be in the game room; though she doesn't really want much to do with blackjack, she's playing single-card solitaire with herself; a pretty easy game, all things considered, but she's still having some trouble, it seems! ]
Let's see, uh, the four goes...
[ She can use some help with her spread, if someone would care to assist..! ]

[Taichi keeps it short and simple as he points to the five of hearts.]

[ And down goes the four of spades! ]
Are you good at solitaire? Misa-Misa doesn't usually play, but, she's always wanted to teach herself! So that's what I'm doing right now..

[What an odd girl. Cute, but odd.]
As good as anyone else, at least! It's a great way to kill time at the very least.

[ Not after yesterday, at least. ]
Are there any board games you're okay at?
no subject
[No kidding]
How about a game of Battleship?
no subject
[ LET'S DO THIS ]
So, so! What will we wager, hm? I'll let you decide the rules of engagement, since Misa-Misa is so nice! A game's not a game without a little bit of risk!
no subject
Heh! Thanks! How abooooooooooooooout...
[He couldn't say what his teenage heart truly wanted.]
How about the loser has to seduce the old detective for the rest of the week?

[ And so, the stage of battle is set! ]
Misa-Misa will go first and go dead-center! E5!

Gabriel sits down near her, watching curious.]
Playin' solitare? I don't think I've played the real game in years; nowadays it comes with computers.
no subject
But it's really tricky! Sometimes it's hard to find space...
no subject
You can't win every game, but it's relaxing.

[ She's bad with numbers.. ]
Misa-Misa is waaay better at crosswords...

[He glances over at the cards for a moment.]
Oh! Look at that, the Jack of spades. You can put it here.

After this game is over, we should play Spit! Have you ever tried? I think you would like it!

Um...it's easier to just show it to you! Here, take a deck and make a solitaire pile, I'll show you what to do from there!
