Week 4.
And as the third week in the Vault comes to a close and the fourth week begins, the Survivors are once again down by two. Mion Sonozaki died on her own terms, and Yato died fulfilling his duty as God of Fortune in the best way that he knew how; the shrine built in the game room on Saturday stands in their memory. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fourth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; even if the Kingmaker sounded a bit unhappy with you last weekend, the fact remains that you're still doing what you seem to have been brought here to do. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 20 |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

Pokemon can get rather large, and having a team of six large Pokemon can be difficult for travel, so Pokeballs are a huge benefit in that regard.
[You know you wanna pet it, Tarrlok.]

[...where can he touch it that his fingers aren't at risk of getting crushed. Maybe the middle of the gear that doesn't have a face on it...?]
I'd imagine a lot more people back home would have animals if they could fit them into an apartment that easily.

[Okay Colress no need to be a smart aleck.
Also, anywhere. Klinklang will slow the rotation enough! Maybe don't touch the spiked rim though...that could hurt.]
But yes, Pokeballs make owning Pokemon accessible to all, no matter the location! They are quite the marvel.

[...he does laugh, at the very least.]
Alright, alright, if you'd just described it to me it would've been pretty unbelievable.
[...he will kind of gently touch the middle of the right gear, then... this is still kinda weird.]
Well, I'd imagine that they'd at least be happy to get out and stretch their... appendages, even if they're kind of just energy when they're in the ball.

Colress nods as this goes on.]
Oh, most definitely. Pokeballs are designed to be comfortable, but I believe nothing would beat being out in the world.
[In other words, it's livable, but not ideal. Kind of...like the Vault...]

[...he'll... rub it, then? shit, that's really weirdly cute.]

[And don't even get him started on the whole Pokemon dream studies thing. That's a topic all its own!
Klinklang's gear is gonna be nice and clean from that rubbing! Thanks Tarrlok! It would rub back but it's...kinda too dangerous for that.]

[...it still seems kind of weird to him, but if it works, it works...]

[He's just opening can of worms after can of worms isn't he.]

But for the most part, yes.
[...It's fine.]

[That was not intended to come off as sarcastic...
He really is happy when people get it.]

Might I ask what you did expect? At least, you had to have had a vague impression from my descriptions, right? I am truly curious.

If it helps, the entire Pokemon culture isn't centered around just battle. Many who have Pokemon simply keep them as pets, or ask for their talents for other things such as contests, movies, and everyday work. It was the combined efforts of humans and Pokemon working together that helped shape Unova, after all!

Hopefully I'll get to experience that at some point, then.
