Week 5.

WEEK 5 Three more have joined the deceased this past week. Taichi Yagami was punished for breaking a rule, Megumi Sakura was killed, and Norman Bates... well, the less said about Norman, the better. A third of you are dead now; your losses are becoming more and more evident with each passing week. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible fifth floor. Wasn't from lack of trying. These things are pretty sturdy though.

...at least Black has the option of just not looking at Yosuke. That's always a fine option. ]

There's no one who can fix them here if they break, though, and I doubt that the Kingmaker's going to give us new toys. [ ...he really doubts he'd give them new anything unless it was part of the crime scene.

I'd probably need a hundred more pounds to do any real damage. But I'll be careful.

[he moves to turn the air on, an slips from the sudden slickness of the table, cutting himself off by thumping his chest against the edge]

Are--are you okay? [ HE'S REALLY CONCERNED RIGHT NOW, PROMISE. GRANTED, IT MAY BE HARD TO TELL WITH HOW HARD HE'S LAUGHING, HOWEVER. HE IS. ]

[ Yosuke is aparently part liquid, cuz he practically oozes onto the table, face down in shame. So much so that he blocks the airjets, causing them to toss his hair around]

[ What does he even do with this--well, taming his laughter to chuckles might be a really good start. Let him just. He can do this, don't worry.

...okay look he tried really hard and then he looked at Yosuke's utter shame and started up again. He's just gonna go to the other side and pull him back up, c'mon buddy. Straighten up. ]

well. ] If it's any consolation, you looked pretty cool before you turned the air on.

[ nope, he broke all his bones. Okay, no he does allow Black to haul him up, resting his forehead on his shoulder for a second to muffle his own bubbling laughter]

[ Snerk. This is so stupid to laugh over, but it's also really nice to laugh over, considering. Everything.

Once Yosuke's solid on his feet though, Black's... a little quick to move away, glancing down at the table. ]

...you still up for air hockey, or is your pride hurting too badly from your loss to the table?

[ it's a very epic battle, clearly. One where Yosuke gets so into it that he actually rebounds a few shots right into his own goal.

Well, even without that Black woulda probably won.]

I haven't lied to you yet, Yosuke, and I'm not planning on it any time soon. [ It's nice to win for once, mostly because he feels like he's been on a major losing streak lately. ]
