WEEK 6 The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people. It's been a bad week. However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. Yeah. Didn't remember at first, but I finally got it up and runnin' again, and he came back through okay! Nothin' much to get back to now.

Just remembered it's not even summer after all. Sent the kids back home to California already, so I don't need to get back to take care of them anymore.

[That's...depressing? That's sort of depressing.]

Maybe you'll see them again soon, though...? Who knows.

[Stan comes over to take a seat near what Mettaton's doing.]

What're you doin' in there anyway?

Mostly just making sure that nothing's too damaged - I don't have Dr. Alphys here to do routine upkeep, and I've been harder on myself than I usually am back home. A lot of beating up inanimate objects and playing that game upstairs...most of what I do isn't quite that impact-heavy, unless I'm fighting someone.

[He's...content to leave it there, though, because he recalls Stan not being too thrilled about the ALSO, MURDERING PEOPLE ON LIVE TV thing.]

[He's still not a fan, but after more than a month he's willing to gloss over it for the sake of better Vault coexistence. Stan doesn't quite see it as the same thing as Cherry, but...well, maybe he'd have felt different about things if he liked Cherry less when he found out, or Mettaton more. He's not got a whole lot of room to judge.]

What, the dancin' one? I ain't been in there much. But yeah, I see where that'd be rough. Is it lookin' okay?

It...should be.

[God, he's not the greatest at this and it shows, but it's not too bad as long as he doesn't just. Straight-up slip and stab himself in the joint.]

It could probably use a bit more paraffin, but we've got more than enough candles for that...otherwise, as long as I don't overexert and don't decide it's a great idea to soak it or anything, I should be all right.

Good. You're the toughest person here, last thing we need is you breakin' down over dancing too hard!

Good. I'd like to kick him in the ribs myself a few times, but as long as someone gets him, I don't even care.
