Week 6.
The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people. It's been a bad week. However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!

WEDNESDAY
Re: WEDNESDAY
In the morning you may find him in the kitchen, with several recipes Aqua was so kind to give him, and trying to follow all instructions. The kitchen isn't looking too bad, there's a burned lump on a side but what's on the stove right now seems good...although a bit lacking in the flavor department. It seems to be some sort of vegetable dish.
In the afternoon you may find him in the sewing room. He has taken several pieces of fabric and cotton, trying to create something like the teddy bears Black had been making so long ago. He has a book from the library about the topic, and he has progressed half into it. It is not bad for a first attempt, but it would be better if the head of the bear weren't upside-down. Also his fingers are completely covered in bandages by now. Ouch.
Finally, in the evening, he is in the music room, with the flute. His lessons with Sigrun has been going surprisingly smoothly, and he is trying to play simple tunes. It is...not bad! He can keep the rhythm and although there are a few bad notes from time to time, it isn't something bad to listen to. Don't ask him to read music sheets, though, he knows nothing about that]
Kitchen
He's hovering in the doorway, unsure whether or not he's allowed to approach or if it would even be a good idea.]
Re: Kitchen
Come in, Cherryblod-san.
I think I owe you an apology.
no subject
I don't think you do.
[He's just going to busy himself making breakfast while Kogoro talks, excuse him.]

Sewing Room
Mouri is pretty much one of the last people he expected to see here, so there's a pause when he sees the detective in there, not certain if he should intrude or not.]
Re: Sewing Room
Do you need anything, Bruce-san?
[Usually Bruce is not the one to approach Mouri, so he is kind of surprised]
no subject
[He trails off and sees the bandages on Mouri's hands, frowning.]

You know, somehow you didn't strike me as the sort...? Consider me surprised.
Re: music room
I'm not the sort of person who plays instruments. I only started to play the flute a couple weeks ago.
I'm still not sure how I let Eide-san convince me to do it, it just happened.
[Not that he'll complain. The lessons aren't a bother]

Satisfied with how it looks, she leaves a note explaining that anyone is allowed to decorate it as they please and goes off to her next stop.
... Which is back to the workshop to finish her other projects, namely the strange boxy one she'd been hiding before. It might be a little familiar to some people, though like with the hearts before she's going to hide it when certain someones come by. This list now includes Cherryblod. Her jacket is so useful.
After a long, hard day though, Sigrun is going to be sitting in the dining room with the puzzles from before, bandages wrapped around her fingers due to some, um, sleep-related accidents. Namely, the lack of sleep.
When she's done with those, she's working on some oddly non-rambunctious song, switching between her flute and her lyre to see which sounds better. No lyrics, and the lyre has some new designs on it. It looks like lines of this painted in a number of different colors.]
Workshop
[Mouri is in good mood, it seems. At least it seems he is feeling better about many things now.
The detective sees the calculator Sigrun is making]
There is no limit to your skills, is there?
no subject
Of course not! I'm actually proud of the title I got for a reason, you know.
["Boundless" is such a good one.]
But my amazingness aside, wood work's just something you grow up learning in Dalsnes. I might as well put it to good use here too.

workshop
[Speedwagon is feeling not nearly as downtrodden as yesterday, and let's just say that he'd happened across the workshop yesterday at some point and found that someone was putting a lot of work into it.
He peers at some of the carvings, noticing the larger things first.]
So here's where you've been all this while.
no subject
Yup. It's familiar, so I like it here, you know? Like with the music room and the fighting area. Working with wood isn't my favorite thing, but... that's just because I'd rather be using it to bash troll head open.
[pleasant conversation as always]

dining room
The sound of the lyre draws Cherryblod to the dining room in the evening. He takes a seat in front of her, not attempting to hide his presence but quiet, so that she can finish her song in peace.
He looks a whole lot better than he did before.]

Sigrun glances up and smiles a little, letting the notes die out naturally as this round comes to an end.]

It's come to the point where its clear that he can't quite stay up for long periods - throughout the day Bruce is in and out of room 9 to take some needed catnaps to keep himself awake through the day. In-between those catnaps in the day he's usually in the chemistry lab, doing some basic experiments like certain chemical mixtures and reactions mostly to keep himself occupied.
Later in the day - around evening, before dinner - Bruce is found in the music room, sitting at the piano and... playing this, apparently. He just more or less repeats playing that over and over again, occasionally missing or messing up a key, where then he pauses and then restarts.
And finally at nighttime Bruce is in his room again - room 9 - and apparently he just is... sitting on his bed in this pose with his eyes closed. You may or may not have seen it before; he's been doing this pretty often since the dojo was available.]
Music Room
He waits in the doorway of the music room, and after a few repetitions of the tune, starts to hum along. Couldn't possibly tell you the lyrics, but he gets the tune right.]
no subject
He continues to play it for another one or two more times when Cherryblod joins in, then stops and just--more or less stares at the keyboard for a moment.]

He wouldn't want to disturb the chap, but it wasn't like this was a bit rude already, standing here and watching in silence.

Chemistry Lab
Colress' goal today is finally getting around to creating his own catalog of the wall o' bottles' contents. Much like with the laundry storage room, he feels it's good to keep track of these things.
He can't help but constantly turn to observe Bruce's experiments though. Man, now this is how he hopes to spend the rest of his time here: being around cool science stuff all the time.]
Might I ask what you have going on there?
[Yeah, he's taking a break from the cataloging to sit by Bruce and his neat experiments.]
no subject
Bruce has been aware of Colress' presence, of course, although as they had been doing their own respective things, he didn't want to bother the other. But now Colress is the one approaching him and Bruce can never say no to a little science talk.]
Oh--its nothing much. Just some simple experiments. [He just vaguely gestures with a hand.] I'm mostly wanting to see if the same laws of science still apply here, since we are in a different world and all.

Dining Hall @ 7:00
Bring your favorite dish!
ALSO: Don't miss the Kingmaker Making contest! Enter for a chance for your work to be featured as our captor's official portrait!
[Once that's done, he retires to the incinerator room for a while to perform some more repairs on the punching yeti. He's brought down some basic first-aid materials from the infirmary as well, just to leave there on the chair in front of the incinerator that no one ever seems to sit in. He's mostly planning on wrapping his hands when he goes to punch things, but having some meds down here doesn't seem like a bad idea in general.]
