WEEK 6 The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people. It's been a bad week. However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. Some people just need a gentler touch, I guess. Or someone that's a pro at distracting.

Doing much better! Talking things out helped.

Though it was him making me be honest this time, which was strange.

[... Maybe that talk in the infirmary actually helped out. Sigrun grins widely, tapping a rhythm out on the table with a casual shrug.]

He's a strange guy sometimes. But how can you expect him to be honest with you if you're not honest with him first, right? I'm glad everything's fine between you two.

I'm a bit of a hypocrite, it's true. But at least things worked out.

Everyone's a hypocrite when it comes down to it, so don't worry. As long as you keep it in mind you'll be fine.

... It must've been a pain for him to talk though, huh? I'll have to give him something nice as a reward. Maybe something from the swap meet.

He hated doing it, apparently, even though it was his idea. So you should absolutely spoil him.

Oh, I will. I've, you know, got that date thing I'm gonna do when I finish a couple more things, and I'll just pet him until he purrs.

Sigrun preens at the attention a little more before picking back up her lyre, starting up the little tune she'd been working on before as she clears her throat. This is a good distraction from the... twisty tentacle beast news she has to share. Misa already knows. She told her in the chapel.]

... So. You remember that challenge from yesterday? The no kissing him until he kisses me again thing.

I remember. Is it already over?

[Either because he kissed her or she gave in, he wouldn't be surprised either way. They're affectionate.]

Mmhmm. I won. Like I knew I would.

[She doesn't have to tell him how hard it was to resist it though. That can stay a secret.]

Congratulations. Now you can go back to kissing him all you want.

[This is one bet he doesn't really mind losing.]

[And from the plucking she's going on, yes. She's more than happy about it. Even a little kiss shouldn't make her that happy though, right?]

I'm sure he would've given in pretty easily if I'd told him about the challenge though. He's not good at back and forth like that, since he's... I mean it's weird, but he definitely acts like every teenager I've met here, you know?

...Actually, I've been meaning to ask you about that.

You're thirteen years older than him, right? ...Is that a lot?

[Cherryblod can count, but making age conversions is not his forte, and at some point he just has to rely on the humans to tell him if human things are weird.]

... Yeah, I guess so. I mean, it's not like he's old enough to be my kid or anything, but it's a lot. To certain people. Not to me.

[Sheeeee didn't even really think about it until he brought it up like that.]

Well, he's an adult, technically speaking, so I think it's fine.

I wonder if he knows his birthday... I mean, if he doesn't, then he can just share mine and we'll grow older together. It'll be fun! Our parties are the best.
