Week 6.

WEEK 6 The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people. It's been a bad week. However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. I'm great! Mostly! Got a few injuries from working earlier and I'm pretty sure I haven't slept in a day, but I'll be resting up tonight. After this.

[Sigrun has been taking care of herself this whole time, she's allowed her cheat day isn't she?]

Good, good. If you don't sleep I might have to crash in your room instead of Mettaton's sometime just to make sure you get your rest.

No, no, there's no need for that. If I can't sleep again I'll just... knock myself out or something. I'll eventually pass out if I stare at the ceiling long enough anyway.

Hey, I've been doing better than most people here so far! I'd be more worried about the doctor than me, that guy looks like he hasn't slept all week. Don't you have any tea that could help with that?

I do, but the problem there is getting him to sit down and drink it. I did make him some tea earlier, but...

[It mostly ended up on his jumpsuit.]

He's having a rough time.

Yeah, and I don't know how to fix that outside of just keeping an eye on him to make sure nothing bad happens on my watch.

[And that's hard as is, you know. Can't be everywhere with everyone at once.

... And she likes her private time she's got now, too.]

Don't either. I've tried my best, but I end up making things worse more often than not.

Some people just need a gentler touch, I guess. Or someone that's a pro at distracting.

... Like bombshell. I'll bet he's already tried his hand at it though, kind heart he is. Though he'd just say it's just what he does.

He's far too kind. Imagine he'd have a better time than me at being a distraction.

Doing much better! Talking things out helped.

Though it was him making me be honest this time, which was strange.

[... Maybe that talk in the infirmary actually helped out. Sigrun grins widely, tapping a rhythm out on the table with a casual shrug.]

He's a strange guy sometimes. But how can you expect him to be honest with you if you're not honest with him first, right? I'm glad everything's fine between you two.

I'm a bit of a hypocrite, it's true. But at least things worked out.

Everyone's a hypocrite when it comes down to it, so don't worry. As long as you keep it in mind you'll be fine.

... It must've been a pain for him to talk though, huh? I'll have to give him something nice as a reward. Maybe something from the swap meet.

He hated doing it, apparently, even though it was his idea. So you should absolutely spoil him.

[Not that he wouldn't encourage that anyway.]

Oh, I will. I've, you know, got that date thing I'm gonna do when I finish a couple more things, and I'll just pet him until he purrs.

Not lately, but I'm aware it's a constant, unspoken agreement among you all.

Sigrun preens at the attention a little more before picking back up her lyre, starting up the little tune she'd been working on before as she clears her throat. This is a good distraction from the... twisty tentacle beast news she has to share. Misa already knows. She told her in the chapel.]

... So. You remember that challenge from yesterday? The no kissing him until he kisses me again thing.

I remember. Is it already over?

[Either because he kissed her or she gave in, he wouldn't be surprised either way. They're affectionate.]

[She doesn't have to tell him how hard it was to resist it though. That can stay a secret.]
