Week 6.

WEEK 6

The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people.

It's been a bad week.

However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not...

Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it.

SURVIVORS REMAINING: 14

[You do that, here Mouri will just hide the botched teddy bear and wait. It is kind of strange, now that he thinks about it. This is pretty much the first conversation with Bruce that hasn't involved trying to get Bruce to not to lock his feelings.

Maybe Bruce is feeling better, at least that is what Mouri hopes]
amygdalae: I wish things could go your way (is that what you think?)

[When Bruce isn't busy being an emotional disaster he's actually a very decent person. Who would have thought.

He returns soon enough with the items in hand, placing them all in a neat row so that Mouri can look at each one of them as he needs to.]

The first thing you need to remember is that you need to give allowance where the materials are going to be threaded together - so when you measure your pieces be sure to make them slightly larger than what you want.

[He demonstrates this by making out the enlarged size on a piece of cloth with some of the marking chalk.]
sleepingkogoro: (i have no idea)

Slightly larger, huh. I had thought...it was a good idea to be as exact as possible.

[So he was doing everything wrong from the very beginning. Who would have guessed.

At least Bruce is making it easy to understand]

amygdalae: what do you mean we can't have blueberries (could you say that again)

It's a mistake a lot of people make in the beginning, so you're not the only one.

[If that is of any consolation to Mouri... it probably isn't, huh.]

Just think of it like a pocket - you need some space for the seams so that there won't be any holes for the filling to come out.
