Week 6.
The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people. It's been a bad week. However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. |

investigation
At least the hallway has a nice surprise for him. He has no idea how Mabel's gift to him ended up lying out there, but it's good to have again. For lack of any other goals, he gravitates up to the chapel, where he sits with the folded Hero's Sash (You can tell it's a hero's sash because it has OUR HERO stitched in multi-colored felt-letters) on his lap and looks right through the memorial. After a while, he takes out a sketchbook from the artroom and starts working; it isn't long before a portrait of Misa joins the other dead. They shouldn't have to rely on the Kingmaker and another trial for one.
If nothing else, the workshop is engaging. Stan can be found poking around the materials in there after a while, eventually going so far as to start opening all the drawers and going through their contents. If he's gonna mess around in here all day, he might as well see if something useful can come of it.]
workshop
[Gabriel might not be an artsy type, but he knows a little bit of woodworking here and there from watching his father when he was a boy.]

Maybe I'll build somethin' later though.

He kinda strikes me as someone who'd just let other people dig through the toolbox as he stands around not doing anything.

Can you imagine! You think he came up with terrible adjective nicknames for his parents, too?

Obligate, maybe?

A new addition to the memorial?

Didn't figure we needed to wait for the Kingmaker.

You drew that? It's quite the piece!

[....Sigh]
This is all a bloody mess.

Can't say I agreed with her way of thinkin', but it sounded like she came by it honestly.

I meant her thing with criminals. It sounded like somethin' terrible happened for her to be like that.
no subject
That's true. I can't imagine what might have happened to her to drive the poor woman to that edge...

You think...

[You know, aside from all the current murder.]

[Misa didn't deserve even more murder, did she? Question of the hour.]
