Week 6.
The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people. It's been a bad week. However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

I'll harass the Kingmaker some more. Not doin' anything else today.

[It's not much, but it's something.]

[Can you ever really hassle the Kingmaker enough?]

Guessing it's a bad morning for you, too.

Could be worse. Just somethin' I pretty much knew was comin' anyway.
It's probably better like this.

[He definitely did not predict this.]

[It's always good to prepare. He had more time for that back home than he did here; hopefully he has something lined up. Besides, Stan doesn't want to get into the details of it.]
no subject
[It takes a second for him to pour some for Stan and set it in front of him. Here you go, friend. Feel better.]

[Coffee obtained! Stan fishes for something else to say for a moment. He hasn't even got any comfort to give himself; he certainly doesn't have anything to make Cherryblod feel better.]
...maybe next week'll be better. [wow that didn't even come out remotely hopeful sounding]
no subject
[...well, maybe not, but at least he'll know.]

[well shit]

That sucks.
But hey, it sounded like your wife was pretty tough. They'll probably be okay.
no subject
...I hope so.
[He doesn't sound certain of it at all.]
