Week 6.

WEEK 6

The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people.

It's been a bad week.

However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not...

Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it.

SURVIVORS REMAINING: 14

[Well that is alarming. Are the toxins weaker than or horribly worse than the arsenic in the vending machine? Inquiring minds want to know.]

I can at least read them, but plenty of these are somewhat foreign to me.

You know...not that I am complaining, but I am rather surprised to even discover this room. After all, we have seen no trace of science-related anything up until this point.

[While he's looking, is there a certain method of organization going on? As in, are the stable elements in one section, the toxins in another, etc.?]
amygdalae: if only. (if only wishes were.)

[Bruce hums as he looks through a few more bottles.]

I recognize most of them, I think. [...supposing they are indeed earth-based things for the most part.] They're all rather standard things, as far as I'm aware.

[...although he is a physicist, not a chemist, so...]

Between this room and the infirmary, it is rather surprising. [Why even keep all this up on so many levels above anyway? So many questions that he can ask, and probably very little of them that he'll be able to answer at this point in time. Not until they all know more.

Either way, Bruce continues to look through the shelves, keeping a more specific eye out to see if there are any empty spaces where a bottle should be.]
pokexplorer: (❖ oh?)

It's all good!

[Once Colress is finished with the wall o' bottles, he turns to get a big picture view of the rest of the room.]

Indeed... I do wonder how the room arrangement in this place was chosen. It seems to make no sense at times. The second laundry room, for example, and the entire fourth floor.

[Like really, a chapel, shooting range and bar on one floor?

But back to the room.]

Everything seems rather pristine in here. That is good to know.

[So nothing has been touched or taken...that's good. He's just going to take a look at the tables and counters to see if there is anything interesting to be found there.]
amygdalae: (science tiem)

no prob! hope you had a good adventure

[Bruce nods to Colress words as he finishes up his inspection of the bottles, tuning back to look at the room as well.]

There hasn't been much of a pattern to the floors at all beyond the first. [The first more or less has the most essential things, but beyond that... yeah.

While Colress looks around more thoroughly at the rest of the room Bruce remains on the shelves - he starts to move some of the bottles, checking to see if there might be anything hidden at the back of the shelves. You may never know, after all. Anything could turn up.]
