WEEK 6 The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people. It's been a bad week. However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. Sooooo. We kind of talked a little. And it came up into the topic of like, surprising me with him dancing the way that my people usually do, with just like-- wild abandon, basically, not the weird close way that we were doing at the time.

[Which was So Weird, Cherry, the punchy feeling was up to eleven.]

And I told him to surprise me sometime, and if he managed to I'd surprise him, and he told me not to make that kind of request since apparentlyhe had a lot of ways to surprise me, so I told him to go for it.

[... Well. She's leaving it there.]

[Pause for three seconds before Cherryblod realizes she's not going to go on without further prompting.]

Don't stop at the really good part, that's cruel.

[He's too old to pout but not too old to sound playfully upset.]

This is cruel.

[Because she actively wants to put someone's head through a wall remembering it. She needs to set this heart down it's not working out and just kind of. Fold her hands on her lap, twiddling her thumbs.]

[No, it's weird to think of Cherryblod dating anyone but the person he's married to now, she's absolutely going to imagine that they smooch.]

It's stupid. [in a good way] I want him to do it more. But I don't want to tell him that! It's like admitting defeat! I can only imagine the stupid smug smile he'd have.

[... And he'd probably think it's cute, which is still an Issue, but it's growing less so each day.]

Hm... The only thing I can think of is one-upping him enough that he has to kiss you to get back at you. But this is Mettaton, so that's hard.

[Why is he encouraging their competition thing? Who knows.]

And because competition for kisses is hot.]

Right, right, it is. I can do that... or not give him any kisses at all and see if he retaliates. I mean, the guy lives off attention, if he doesn't get it something's bound to happen, right?

[He doesn't care if his son does hot things, he's only being a supportive dad/dad-in-law!]

If you do that, you're more likely to give in before he does.

I am not! I can so go a week without kissing him! That should be enough time, right? Yeah. I won't kiss him until he kisses me first.

This is a great idea and I thank you for helping me come up with it. You'll be rewarded with tales of how much he wanted to kiss me when it happens.
