Week 6.

WEEK 6
The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people.

It's been a bad week.

However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not...

Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it.

It's something they decided on! They ferry people between various places in the Underground; I don't know if they were hired to do it or if they just decided that that was what they were going to do one day and just never stopped.

You monsters and your occupations. Well, guess it's not like you have anything else to do down there, and having a single goal in mind is better than having too many.

[... Wait. She's just realizing something.]

I can't believe you have a river in there! I mean, that runs through the whole thing. I kind of figure that someplace wet like Waterfall would. Have you ever found the mouth of it?

Well, I definitely haven't...? But I'm sure someone has at some point or another - after all, it isn't like there aren't boats.

[...A boat? Either way, it's a thing that happens.]

Usually rivers come from an opening, but that barrier thing might go all the way around now that I'm thinking about it... So even if you found it, you still couldn't leave. Even if things float in.

Or it can come from a spring, I guess. There's stuff like that too.

...The Barrier covers a lot of distance, sweetheart. It's over everything in the Underground, not just the one main opening.

It's more like a wall. It won't kill you if you touch it, anyway, and I don't remember it shocking or anything like that. It's really bright to look at, though.

I was gonna be surprised that there's anything brighter than you in the Underground, but that's only when it comes to looks and personality. You're a shining star and yet you're as dim as a candle.

I still wish you could touch mine, as dangerous as that could be. I bet it feels nice. I mean, it's nice holding yours, anyway, really warm and kind of soft and so you. There's no denying that. I mean, I'm sure all monster souls are like that, but... yeah.

I've actually never held anyone else's, so I wouldn't know.
