Week 6.

WEEK 6 The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people. It's been a bad week. However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. Yeah, sure. I doubt it's any worse than some of the disgustin' shit I've seen as a ghoul investigator.

While lookin' for the werewolf-- when I didn't believe there was one, I ended up finding a "prestigious" club for prominent German families. It just so happens that mine is one of 'em, so I was able to gain access to it.

Not long after I joined, a man was killed about a block away from the club. It looked like he'd been mauled by an animal; they blamed it on some "escaped" zoo wolves.

Not long after, I left for a hunting trip with the men for a club into a forest outside of the city. I was exploring the grounds, lookin' for proof of them doing anything illegal, and that's how I came across a cave. One of the men was in there. Eatin'.

It looked like that had been his hiding place for a long time from the state of things.

Holy shit. So what happened next?

I don't know. As soon as I saw him, I woke up.

Damn. Maybe you'll remember more next week?

I sure hope so. I don't exactly appreciate the cliffhanger I've been given. It's a real pain in the ass.

I want to hope I stopped him. What a monster.

How do you stop a werewolf, anyway? Silver bullets?

I think just regular bullets work.

Gracie sent me a book that talked about killin' the alpha werewolf to stop the curse, but the book never mentioned anything about the particular weapon.

I hope ya put a bullet in that thing's head, then.

...Who's Gracie?

She's my research partner.

Saved my neck last year.

[He does have someone named "Grace" listed under his likes...]

She sounds pretty great. What's she like?

[notjustawriter]

She's serious and stubborn. A lot more logical than I am, and she's the type of person you can depend on. She's not shy about letting me know if she finds a plan I have stupid.

Good at getting to the source of problems, too.

Sounds like you're pretty damn lucky to have someone like her around.

I'm thankful for her.

I just wish she wasn't so prone to gettin' into trouble herself.
