Week 6.

WEEK 6

The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people.

It's been a bad week.

However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not...

Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it.

SURVIVORS REMAINING: 14

Nonsense, Klinklang will slow down enough to prevent that. Indeed, you may place your faith in me on this one.

[Mouri's question gets a laugh out of him.]

Haha! You know, they are more common than one would think! There are several evolutionary lines like that, yes. But far more often than not Pokemon tend to not resemble everyday objects.

...let's say I'm interested in living in your world if in mine...things don't go very well. How difficult would it be to fit in?

[While Mouri at least has the will to try to fix the problems with his false-so-to-say career there's nothing wrong with having a Plan B]

[Oh, well that was unexpected! Colress taps his chin, thinking it over.]

The biggest hurdle you would have to overcome is adapting to a culture that is entirely centered around Pokemon. They are extremely ingrained into our lifestyles- you cannot go an hour without discussing them.

As for the Pokemon themselves, it is only a matter of getting you a starter Pokemon of your own! You two will be able to grow and learn together. Doesn't that sound nice?

I suppose I could adapt. I have no idea what the whole deal with Pokemon is but it is a matter of learning. It's something I'll have to accept.

...starter Pokemon, growing and learning together...that sounds like a ritual everyone goes through when they're children or something. I'm a bit late for that.

[Not saying he isn't willing to do it, but that does sound to him as a childhood experience for the rest of the life]
