It seems things have been resolved - peacefully, if more than a little awkwardly for most parties involved.

However, there's still work to do here, isn't there?

Ryuunosuke shrugs after a long moment; tips his head up a bit. "Hey, Glory? Let everyone up."

And apparently that's all it takes, though what that actually does isn't something that happens all at once - rather, panels slide out from the wall, forming a staircase up to that balcony they've been standing on. Mettaton doesn't really wait for the others to join them; he just leaves back through that section of wall they entered from, calling something back over his shoulder.

"We've got another room to work from back here, darlings, this shouldn't take too long to work out."

he probably can't talk to half of them. If the translation bit was just for the virtual reality, then there's no way they could talk like they used to. The thought's heavy enough for him to consider asking if he can get put back, but—don't reject the life you're going to live. If that means having to learn to play charades to talk to his favorite people, fine, but no going back.

But holy shit, let him take a moment to take his glasses off once he's out of his pod and get that pain out of the way??? Sleeping with glasses on for two months sucks.

Once that's done— there's probably a few people he's specifically seeking out, but he's pretty much here to be the same scrawny wallflower he's always been.

[For the most part, Mettaton can be found here; he isn't having nearly as much difficulty as most would dealing with stasis, but that's probably to be expected given, well, robot body and all. It's a convenient reason to not stay around, anyway, because that...that is awkward.

Let the others have their reunions; he's all right with being back here for the time being.

Besides, there's a portal machine to work out in here; might as well.]

but you know what, she's so happy to be alive and with Sigrun again that she actually does laugh. A little bit. ]

[It's all too sudden, it seems - one moment they're all in the room, and the next--

Suddenly everything changes and Bruce wakes up with a gasp. His limbs feel incredibly sluggish but that's something he can probably shake off in time; its not like there has ever been much that could take down a Hulk for long.

He coughs at first as oxygen floods through his body, awakening everything back up, and at the back of his head he feels an old presence he hadn't felt at all in the last two months. Which, considering everything, is not a surprise - the Hulk probably wouldn't have been able to process the VR environment, anyway. Or maybe it was something in this system. Who knows.

Right now, he's just more ready to get out of this thing.

His exit isn't exactly the most graceful of things - one limb after another Bruce forces them to move, and eventually he manages to clamber out of the chamber, still coughing and gasping a little. It takes him a moment to realize that he's still wearing one of those godawful jumpsuits. Some things just don't seem to want to leave him.

Once he's properly out Bruce more or less collapses in a mess of exhausted limbs at the side of the chamber he had been in, taking several deep breaths in succession as he recovers from what had been very possibly the most exhausting two months of his life. Jesus Christ.

...and much (much) later, once Bruce can feel his limbs again he'll be walking around to stretch his limbs and seek out certain other people who he hopes managed to get out or else there'll be words.]

[Caren shakes her head and just sighs, more long-suffering than actually upset.]

[She gets hugged tightly in return.]

[Being awake after being in the same position for two months is amazing. Mouri doesn't jump out of his capsule, that'd be silly. He takes his time so he doesn't fall down and faceplant, like he already heard happened to some.

He looks around, paying some attention. Well what a place to be locked in for so long, eh? He hesitates, steps down and, well, the first thing he does is try to make himself presentable. Who cares if he literally woke up. This is a time for celebration.

...but yeah, he has to sit again. He leans against the nearest vertical surface, just enjoying the feeling of knowing he is out of the virtual simulation]

[Getting used to moving after being confined for two months in the same position is a pain. It is going to take a long while for Mouri to get used to walking. Stupid virtual world. He is also sure he looks awful and is going to need a dozen baths because, again, two months.

But everyone else must be the same, so who cares.

Mouri has something he'd like to do, because he wants to get done with it as soon as possible. It feels...like giving closure to a past self. He feels like a different person, but...yeah, there is a mistake he'd like to apologize for.

He ignores Ryuunosuke because he is a pretentious serial killer Mouri doesn't want to talk with. He is like a stranger, after all. Mettaton is the target here]

Mettaton-kun. It happened two months ago, but I feel I should get done with this now. I'm sorry for having accused Alphys like I did.

[Yeah, it is a formal apology. He has a couple apologies to give, it is just that Mettaton is one of those two]

I'm also sorry for using your appreciation for Alphys as a way to find out more about your session. It was callous but I felt it was necessary at the time.

[Speedwagon awakes surrounded by hair. You think it's bad being stuck in a claustrophobic pod for a couple months? Try doing it and having a luxurious mane as your pillow. That pod glass really can't slide away fast enough, but it does and Speedwagon's stumbling out.

...It's been a long time, hasn't it? He can tell. His legs almost instantly give out during his first steps. Look at this guy, eating shit on the floor and he's smiling.

He's groggy and weak, but heck if Speedwagon doesn't feel alive right now.]

Ha! Haha! [Yes, he's laughing at the floor. Yeah, there's some tears. he's a bit of a mess.] We did it!

Ugh, yeah. Lucky you don't wear glasses, I feel like they stuck knives in my face.

[That's maybe a little hyperbolic, but he's earned it. Stan hoists himself half-upright, and immediately regrets it as something cracks audibly in his back.] Ohhh yep, there it is.

Ryuunosuke stays there for a moment until he's sure he won't land on his face and once he's out of the the chamber, he'll be hanging near Mettaton. He seems pretty relaxed, but he's watching everyone carefully. If you've got something to say go ahead! He'll talk to anyone, but he's not going to be approaching people here.]

Has Sigrun punched you yet?

[Of course Cherryblod's going to seek him out sooner rather than later. He has to look after him, in case someone decides to take matters into their own hands, and besides -

Well, of all things Mettaton could have expected here, that...wasn't it, honestly. He kind of locks up a little when Mouri starts talking to him, and it takes him a second to take all of that in, but once all of it's processed it's...not bad? It's a lot of things, but it's not bad, and- ]

...I really am glad that I got to meet you, Detective Mouri. And thanks. For the apology, and for everything else.

They usually last an hour or two, not weeks. [ A beat.]
