WEEK 6 With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. [Phi spends most of today in the lower (new) library, reading. As usual, she's placid about it - but considering if she hears anyone coming in she'll take a glance at them maybe she wants you to come talk to her.

Later, she's making an early dinner in the kitchen. Tonight's menu appears to be meat lovers stir fry.]

If I precook all of these, then I shouldn't have to worry about anything being undercooked...

[Estelle finally finds her way to the new library. She was in a slump all week, but she's finally recovered and can't believe she's missed all of this!

She'll spot Phi looking at her and she'll approach.]

Not yet. I honestly haven't been in this library until now.

[Which may be odd for a girl who loves books.]

[Oh. Phi wasn't keeping track of everyone else's social lives, but that probably means...]

Last week's travesty was really hard on you, huh...

I... had never lost a close friend like that before... so yes, it was rather hard.

I can't really say I knew any of them that well. Varric did say he thought of me like a daughter, or something like that, but I barely even spoke to Viktor or Killia...

[Now she won't get the chance.]

I've talked with Varric many times. He also let me read his story. Killia... I was rather close to. Losing them both... it was hard.

[Not to mention she found Varric's body...]

Yeah, Watanuki's apparently gonna teach me how to cook at some point but he wants me to wake up early, so. I don't know, man. I'm not sure it's gonna happen.

[It would help if there were a single timepiece in this building other than that clock. Even if they're unsafe to wear she's hoping there's more than one watch/bracelet in the vending machine.]

But of course you don't have to. Things might just be harder down the line.

A few times, since... all this. Usually I ate out.

So is cooking a new adventure for you?

Sort of. My foster mom taught me a few things when I was younger. The rest is procedural.

Foster mom? Oh... Aah- forgive me, if you don't want questions about such a thing, I just- aah, there's a little girl I know, who I was reminded of...for a moment.

It's not a big deal.

As I was told, my biological mother died shortly after I was born. My father, as far as anyone could tell, had disappeared off the face of the planet.

It was a little dicey, but there was an old lady that didn't want me to grow up on the streets that took me in. Asked specifically, if I remember.
