Week 6.
The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people. It's been a bad week. However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

Haha, looks like you'll have another fan at this rate, Cherryblod.
no subject
[Better than he's winning over the people here, at this rate.]
no subject
[And he does mean that! Cherryblod's kindness toward Pokemon actually reminds him a lot of Rosa. He feels this must be what he now wants to strive for, based on what his dreams showed him.]
no subject
[Though he's not sure it's not just because he pets them a lot and showers them in PDA.]
Maybe in another lifetime.
no subject
What's to say that you couldn't have Pokemon of your own someday? When we get out of here, we could probably make it happen.
no subject
[And he would. Count on it.]
no subject
[He has a moment of realization though, and slowly turns toward Klinklang.]
I believe Klinklang has been...fine, without other Pokemon up until now.
[He noticeably hesitates before "fine", because in reality, the Pokemon is looking rather melancholy. It has been since Colress had to break the news about Tarrlok last night.
Colress' calm demeanor briefly wavers there, thinking about it again.]
It had a grand time facing Miss Sigrun, for example. And it's not as though your Pokemon will not be around other creatures, right?
no subject
Technically, but they'd be more like me and less like Pokemon. We don't keep many pets around.
[Probably because of how weird that feels when you're an animal yourself.]
no subject
Colress tries his best to keep his cool at this. Just...focus on the conversation.]
Hmmm. Well, if you're concerned about it being lonely, you could always have more than one. Trainers often have up to six with them at once.
[Again, they can make it work...!]
no subject
I wouldn't mind, if they're all as cute as yours.
no subject
Colress chuckles softly.]
There are over six-hundred of them, I'm sure you'll be able to find plenty of cute ones for your own family.
[Especially if even gears and an alien are cute to him.]
no subject
Then maybe I will, once things settle down at home.
no subject
[Colress' smile returns in this moment. Everyone here could do well with a Pokemon as far as he is concerned. He could especially see Sigrun enjoying a Fighting-type.
But, yes, home...hm. What a topic "home" actually is right now.]
Indeed. I have a feeling that I may have some settling to do myself when I return if my dreams are anything to go by...
[They've been hard for everyone to talk about, no doubt.]
no subject
[Is the sky at least not bleeding?]
no subject
Yes, everything is fine. I actually discovered that I completed my research. The theme of my research: "Bringing out the power of Pokemon." I...after all this time, I found my answer.
[He says it like it's bittersweet. Obviously, it's the source of everything being up in the air for him right now.]
no subject
So now what will you do?
no subject
[It's not the worst dilemma in the world to have for certain, but there's an uneasy feeling about suddenly not having an aim in life after having one for so many years.
As he thinks about it though, he considers the previous week's dream he had. Would it be worth bringing up too?
...Hm.]
...Cherryblod. I know this may sound strange, but may I speak with you about the topic of the Kingmaker's claim about our worlds?
no subject
[It's not a thrilling topic of conversation, but he's here for support.]
no subject
The reason I bring it up is because in my dream last weekend, there was actually a very real possibility for destruction to befall my world. Strange coincidence, isn't it?
no subject
no subject
[It makes it even more confusing now that he knows what could have happened, but the Kingmaker is saying it did happen...?]
no subject
[At least his isn't destroyed. Just awful.]
no subject
I simply found it rather interesting if a bit unnerving to actually experience such threats happening in my dreams, after what the Kingmaker claimed. With that last dream, I began to wonder if he knew more about the cause of our worlds' destruction than he was letting on.
That is of course, if his claim is actually true.
[And actually? He still doesn't really believe it.]
no subject
[Because all that keeps him going is his family, some days.]
no subject
If he wants us to believe him so badly, why hasn't he given concrete evidence...?
