WEEK 6 The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people. It's been a bad week. However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. I know he will. ...Hm, think of it this way - if you got a gift from someone you barely knew, it'd be weird, wouldn't it? If not a little creepy. You might still use it if it was a practical gift, but it wouldn't mean a lot to you.

Gifts are usually at least as much about sentiment as they are about the object itself. They're about somebody thinking of you and taking the time to get or make something they know you'll like.

And... okay. That makes Sigrun a little squirmy. Let her quietly focus on her weaving while she struggles not to die inside. Let her get her Feelings together to try and word things.]

He always gets me a bunch of practical things. I just give him pretty things. [...] I mean, he's done plenty of other things too, so it's not like it's not balanced or whatever, and... I know I'm one of the people he trusts most of all, which is really saying something, and I'm the only one that's... uh. Well, I've seen his soul. And touched it.

He makes me feel the same way that a troll hunt does. I kind of want to tell him that? But I don't know if I really want to, since... I kind of already told him I liked him anyway, so what's the point, right? He likes me back though. I definitely know that.

I would tell him, but I'm the type who's constantly affectionate anyway - you know that about me by now. If you think it's too embarrassing, then save it for some other time, but I'm sure he'd like hearing it since he knows what hunting trolls is to you.

Sooooo. We kind of talked a little. And it came up into the topic of like, surprising me with him dancing the way that my people usually do, with just like-- wild abandon, basically, not the weird close way that we were doing at the time.

[Which was So Weird, Cherry, the punchy feeling was up to eleven.]

And I told him to surprise me sometime, and if he managed to I'd surprise him, and he told me not to make that kind of request since apparentlyhe had a lot of ways to surprise me, so I told him to go for it.

[... Well. She's leaving it there.]

[Pause for three seconds before Cherryblod realizes she's not going to go on without further prompting.]

Don't stop at the really good part, that's cruel.

Hm... The only thing I can think of is one-upping him enough that he has to kiss you to get back at you. But this is Mettaton, so that's hard.
