Week 6.
The number of Survivors left is dropping at a quick pace; the King got what he wanted, for better or for worse; Tarrlok and Lynne were victims of both fate and some sort of magic that most in the Vault still don't quite understand, and Misa Amane has been executed, not for her particular brand of "justice", but for murdering two innocent people. It's been a bad week. However, Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible sixth floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

[Sounds pleasant, doesn't it?]

...are you sure these fights in your world are safe? Because I'm starting to get concerned about it. Just a bit, though.

And I can assure you that they are completely safe, Mr. Mouri. Pokemon do not get fatally injured very often- they are quite resilient! Typically they simply faint when they run out of energy during battle, and can then be healed at a Pokemon Center.
...Of course, I do not have access to a Pokemon Center here, so I am being rather careful with my Pokemon.

[There are rumors of Klinglang being friendly, and Mouri saw Cherryblod dancing with that bunch of cogs, but better not to jump to conclusions]

[His voice lowers a bit as he says that.]
I am sure that under normal circumstances that it would love to get to you know too though. Allow a few days of space, perhaps?

[Mouri makes a surprised face. Why would Klinglang want to meet him? Mouri wasn't anything special or tried to show any curiosity. In fact, he felt more...intimidated than anything else. Rotating spikes aren't inviting.
But when Colress offers that, well...]
Y-Yes, that would be nice! I'm not sure if I'd get along with Klinklang but I should at least try. [Tentative smile] I wouldn't know how to start, though. I have never...tried to interact with somebody like Klinklang.

[Following that, he gives a quick wink.]
If you would like a hint on where to begin, petting it has proven to be a smashing success for many.

[Really?]
That almost seems like a prime way to get my fingers mangled, but it's worth a try. I will-I will trust you on this matter.
Are they common in your world, though? Groups of floating objects with emotions?
no subject
[Mouri's question gets a laugh out of him.]
Haha! You know, they are more common than one would think! There are several evolutionary lines like that, yes. But far more often than not Pokemon tend to not resemble everyday objects.

[While Mouri at least has the will to try to fix the problems with his false-so-to-say career there's nothing wrong with having a Plan B]

The biggest hurdle you would have to overcome is adapting to a culture that is entirely centered around Pokemon. They are extremely ingrained into our lifestyles- you cannot go an hour without discussing them.
As for the Pokemon themselves, it is only a matter of getting you a starter Pokemon of your own! You two will be able to grow and learn together. Doesn't that sound nice?

...starter Pokemon, growing and learning together...that sounds like a ritual everyone goes through when they're children or something. I'm a bit late for that.
[Not saying he isn't willing to do it, but that does sound to him as a childhood experience for the rest of the life]
