WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 23 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 22 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 20

[ He had made a choice then, hadn't he. There was no other option with the raw power Bloodis had thrown at them, and Seraphina had jumped in front of him to try to shield him. What could he have done, other than that. But in doing so he had-- maybe that explained some things.

As soon as he's awake Killia leaves his room to move about and explore, hoping that there's something to distract him. Then he finds the dojo and it's just what he needed after that dream. He'll be spending the majority of the day here, practicing various combat techniques which are various punches and diving glides (using his wings even).

Eventually he realizes he should probably eat, but he's not in the kitchen for long as he's just making creampuffs like Gangrel said could be done. He's too high-strung for a proper meal today, and he pretty much eats and ditches as fast as he can.

Finally he'll spend the evening in the gym punching the hell out of the punching bag and not much else, as the weights don't interest him. When he tires of that he spends some time investigating the gym a bit, not really sure what he's looking for, but he told someone he would make an attempt at searching. He's mostly just poking around the machines, maybe someone left something of interest here (does the Wordsmith lift?)]

[ Well, at some point he does bring himself well into the dojo, so it's no surprise that he manages to catch the other man doing his best to keep his moves up to snuff. Although, Mikazuki is quiet so he can observe him for a little while. It's admirable, to be able to move like that, he thinks. ]

You seem rather energetic today. Is it because you have a place to practice your moves?

That's part of it. [ He launches himself into a double flip, flaring his wings out at the last second to curb his momentum. It's a bit flashy to say the least.]

I had another dream.

[tsugomori]

Oh, you did?

[ He'll smile a little, moving close, but with a respectable distance so he doesn't interfere with the man's movements. ]

Well, I did too. But, was yours a good one?

[ Very bluntly:]

No. [ For others he might just leave it there, but he needs to catch his breath and he doesn't mind talking to the sword spirit.]

Void and Majorita aren't the only ones I need to worry about. He has another general who's almost as strong as him, Bloodis.

Ah, that's unfortunate.

[ He begins to start stretching because then, he realizes, he may wind up becoming as useless as a real human old man and that would suck. ]

... Almost as unfortunate as the name he has. [ That was probably rude but who cares. ] Well, my dream wasn't all that bad, but it was quite relatively a simple one of a meeting.

[While Estelle could waste her day away reading a book, it's still difficult for her to sit in one spot for so long so investigating is a go! She sees Killia in the gym punching that punching bag and just smiling.]

How are you feeling today?

[deofoled]

Hey. [ He stops when he sees her, a bit surprised.]

I didn't expect to see you here. [ Not answering the question for reasons.]

[firstaid]

I thought I would just look around a bit to see what's new.

[And she notices he avoids the question, so once more:]

How are you feeling?

[deofoled]

Fine. Happy to have the space to move around, at least.

[ It's half a lie, half not.]

[firstaid]

[She'll approach him, getting in his face a bit.]

Are you really fine?

[Sorry, they've been here three weeks. She's past allowing people to bullshit at her and will press past it for people she's come to care about.]

gym

[Varric has no use for much of anything on the fourth floor. He wasn't much for hand-to-hand combat, and there was no way anyone was going to catch him in a poor deeper than himself. Nevertheless, he found himself up there, ambling about. He was more interested in the people, how they interacted with the place.]

[He paused at the door of the gym, staring in at the man therein. He paused, unsure of how to approach. He'd opted to give Killia space after everything that had happened. But a week was enough, and worry churned in his gut.]

[Not that he'd let it show just yet.]

I think you killed it dead by now.

[deofoled]

Not quite. [ Punching it more because it's still in front of him, really. But after a more swings he stops with a sigh, shaking out his hands.]

...I've wanted to talk to you. [ He's just really not the best at approaching people first.]

Me? [They'd chatted a few times, and Varric had been there in the midst of all of the shit the previous week but... He doubted that cast him in a decent sort of light.]

What'd I do this time?

Mikazuki told me what you wrote for Christo.

I do it for anyone that deserves it. I didn't know Christo well, only talked to him after we arrived here but... He seemed a good man.

You both deserve better than this place.

[Well, the Wordsmith may lift, he may not, but the machines don't seem to have any secret or trick to them; it's noticeable, though, that they seem to be largely unused. It's not in a rusted sort of way, but the weights don't have a particularly large amount of wear to them, nor do the machines.]

[ Well that's probably interesting to others here, though he doesn't know what to make of it. Once he's done looking at the machines he goes over to the mats, moving them around a bit just to see if there's anything hidden under them or what not.]

[Everything seems normal in that regard!]

[ He figured. Man is he bad at this umm-- well the only other place he can think to look is just to check out the walls in general, to see if they're like the rest of the walls in this place that are made of something way too strong to punch through.]

[Jasper watches Killia for a long while before she approaches him,nodding in appreciation at the various technique he uses.]

This is just the room a number of us needed.

[ Thank... well he wouldn't thank God but he is very grateful that the dojo exists.]

Are you going to train yourself?

[She nods.]

I think so. I may be a warrior Gem, but that doesn't mean I don't need to keep my skills sharp.
